I bring that up because I would expect it more to dead pull lefties than the other way. Don't see many 1st basemen you'd trust to cover that much ground. Yeah?

So..eveyone..out.there...you..ask..
For .a raise
.in pay....you expect..a.no..
It..does .mean..you.may..need..
A.new..job..or..maybe...not..
Sense..a.new..negotiation..

Cycle..will..be..at..the..end..of..the.year..
Would..give..an..auto..raise...

But..let's...try...and..see..anyway..

Ok then..we..will..run
.the .test ...

Test..came .out..as.expected...
All..right..then...moving..on..

That alignment seems odd, you’d have to switch your 3B and SS and put the least athletic OF as the rover. If you don’t there are a lot of inside the park homer in opportunities.

This is completely true about getting the analytic guys away from the players. When the Phillies fired Giardi the analytics took a back seat and Rob Thomson reinstated baseball without analytics as the driving force. No one thought the Phillies would make the WS but they did.
I get the philosophy because it has turned low end prospects into stars like Donaldson and Bautista but I find it offensive that analytic guys pretend there is only 1 way to be successful as a hitter then force the defense to not be allowed to defend against that way of hitting.

Makes perfect sense. I never thought about that until you brought it up. Should be fun.

I'm glad we got to see Julio get a full season before they changed the bags.

Going to be quite a few more attempts and successful steals around the league this year.

Kind of on the fence with that one. I love that part of the game, but between the pitch clock, limited throws to first, and the larger bases, they are just breaking too many traditions. The records won't mean anything.

Miller has some small hands and short fingers.

Most pitchers can wrap around the entire baseball and touch fingers to thumb. When they pitch the ball is out to the end of their fingers ( not jammed all the way into the crook of their thumb. Just an observation ... hope he has lights out stuff.

I agree

When you are as young as France and play ball professionally you need to be HWP ( height weight proportional )
He is pretty soft around the midsection and appears he could drop 15-20lbs, that extra chubb does not help him in anyway be a better hitter or fielder.
I've always had a gripe with position players who aren't in good shape. When you're gifted enough that you're able to hit a baseball thrown by the best pitchers in the world, you're doing yourself and your team a disservice by not trying to be the best overall player you can be and conditioning is part of that.

I do not see Kelenic playing that many games.

And there is always the chance he Jedi Mind f^cks his way back to Tacoma again all spring and summer. I hope not for the clubs sake.

Are they predicting Evan White to re-injure himself or something? 59 games??
I agree with you that Kelenic likely won't play that many games.

Regarding Evan White, I'm not sure. I don't know the methods that these projections use, but if I had to guess they probably have some algorithm that accounts for a variety of variables and just spits out numbers. I'm more an analytics nerd than not, but I've never been a fan of the analytics sites that make projections based on algorithms.

No nothing to feel stupid about. I was just laughing about all the players that say that. You were right in your comment. My mind just drifted when I read that.

Ya that would be hilarious if a player did say something like that. Vogelbach comes to mind...lol.

How funny you said that because I went up about 20 lbs and still wear the same clothes without noticing a change. I never thought to credit my leg gain...lol.
Oh the muscle gain wasn't the only mental gymnastics I performed. I started thinking about how I had consumed roughly 1.5L of water, 20oz of coffee, was wearing a suit, etc. Of course the weight gain isn't due to eating pizza twice a week, or the fast food consumed daily for lunch, how could that be possible?

Thankfully I know my body pretty well and I'm able to drop weight pretty easily just by changing dietary habits. That's why it agitates me when I see people who exercise for a living showing up out of shape. If I'm able to stay in decent shape without going to the gym, why can't professional athletes?
