He and Giddey both have a chance
I love Giddy but I think they have a problem if he’s a max guy. I don’t think he’s ever going to be better than the third best player on a real championship contender.

Dunno.

They gave Simons a bag.

If they move him with the pick, maybe paying Trent Jr becomes more palatable.

Do you agree with Masai that the Raps are on the same level as the Heat?

I do not….lol

They need better connectors to make those pieces fit.

Also….

Gotta be careful trading for OG.

Dude keeps crying about a bigger role.

He would probably still be the #3 guy in Portland.

Hell no. Miami had a similar record due to a lot of injuries. Toronto could very well have their backcourt walk this summer. I don't know how much of Masai's comments can just be attributed to negotiation thru the media.

Portland doesn't have any expirings to deal really, which complicates any trades. Simons can be moved, but Nurkic is signed for 3, Nassir for 4, and the rest are dumpable non-guaranteed and club options, but small scale. I'm assuming they would want to keep Sharpe, but maybe not if they move all in for Dame?

Hell no…lol

The Clippers are too stubborn to do the smart thing.

The Portland trade would be awesome because they would have to send us Simons, maybe Sharpe for salary matching purposes.

They Love Mann.

Wouldn’t give him up for FVV.

They most certainly won’t dump him for Tobias part 2….lol

Nice try though.
I hear ya. With the Harris “asset” I feel like I’m walking in the bar trying to get laid and I have huge herpes sores all over my mouth haha.

Hypothetical question, would Stern have allowed the Beal trade? I mean it’s basically a salary dump.

The point is teams like the Knicks have damn near double digit picks and young talent.

Several teams can beat your offer without having Portland eat Duncan Robinson or Hero.

Thunder, Jazz, Knicks, Nets can all beat what you can offer.

Im taking any of the Thunders youngsters, Quickley, Toppims,Grimes and 4 or 5 picks over what you have.
Considering how loyal dame been to them, i do think he would have a say where he goes even without a no trade clause.

Im also not going to take toppings or grimes over Herro. Don't even think i take Quickley

As i was saying @shopson67

Of course, but he has not asked to move. If Scoot falls to #3, there should be no shortage of options to trade him. Miller to a little lesser degree.

Is Markkanen a big enough target? Utah wants to move up, but there's not much else to pull from Utah in terms of vets though. Would have to be picks coming back that Portland could flip in other deals IMO.

Things like this and what @Mecca pointed out about looking at a deal for Bam make it look like they are going to commit to Dame.

If that's the case, the Blazers could become very interesting this off-season.
They should focus on siakam. Toronto been unsuccessful lately.

Clippers still on this shit.

So, I’m not going to even set myself up for the disappointment of change.

Salary is the problem there.

But, yup.

This is what it would take and George is extension eligible.

For more accurate shit on the trade machine, use this link for now. ESPN is still using last year’s shit in terms of salary and years left on deal.

Nassir contract is an asset Imo.

He’s young, cheap and better than that deal

Been a tad injury prone tho I believe

I’m taking Quickley over Tyler.

I am a Tyler fan.

But, he only does 1 thing extremely well.

Get buckets.

Dame will have a say in where he goes if things are near equal.

Quickley, Grimes/Toppin filler and multiple picks vs Hero and a late first are not anywhere in the same time zone as equal.

If they dealt him, he would be able to choose between the best packages, not just any team regardless of the offer.

I like Spotac's version better anyway. Has all the draft picks right there, all the info you need.

Dame may not have a no trade clause, but he has a player option next season that could almost be used as such.

Beal is a much better player.

But, this is similar to what the Blazers and Clippers did for RoCo and Powell.

We gave them Cheating China Eric Bledsoe, Winslow, Clark and a 2nd.

Poo Poo platter.

No doubt.

Do you think that would scare the Knicks?

Maybe OKC and the Jazz.

My point still stands.

Portland is not going to just hand over Dame for that trash Miami offer.

Several teams can beat that.
