Dude really fucked himself after leaving the Clippers.

Even if he didn’t stay with the Clips, he should have taken the Hornets multi year offer over 1 year with the Lakers.
He’s so poor defending his position that he has no role in the playoffs. A team like Charlotte is where he should be. For a team without aspirations he can come off the bench and provide some low post attitude, grit, and bench scoring.

Yeah, that was a vet move that he made.

You do that when you have already made your money or there aren’t any teams offering you more.

Trezl really thought he was a starting caliber, core piece.

In actuality, he was a high energy, situational super sub.

Dude is the original Dennis Shroeder.

Norlens Noel 2.0.

Dude let the Lakers and Klutch finesse him into turning down 80 mil to take 19 from the Lakers and get his ass shipped to Washington a year later…..lol

He will NEVER make that money back.

Should have known it would be a shit show when Perk said it was the biggest move, Trezl was the biggest winner of the offseason…..lmfao

"Why didn't the Lakers just bring us back? We just won a [2020] championship... They went and got Marc Gasol and Montrezl Harrell. That was their way of saying, 'we got younger and better at the position.'"—Dwight Howard

Dwight seems to have selective amnesia. He went to the Sixers on day 1 of free agency and agreed to a contract because the Lakers didn't make him a high enough priority in free agency.

……and he wanted more money.

They showed him interest.

But, he got in his feelings and bolted.

But as a result of his stellar play off the bench, it’s not shocking that Howard will be a relatively hot commodity in free agency, and it’s similarly unsurprising that while he and the Lakers have interest in a reunion coming back, the 34-year-old also wants a contract more commensurate with his contributions..

The Lakers are reportedly calling Dwight Howard ‘three times a week’ to let him know how much they want him back.
