If I’m the Cavs, I’m asking Mitchell this question straight up.

Are you open to being here longterm?

No ironclad, I’m 100% extending.

But, would you consider it?

…..any hedging, hemming or hawing….trade him…..NEXT YEAR.

Windy agreed he didn't think he would be there long-term either but this only after one year in Cleveland. If Mobley takes the next step and so does the team...does Mitchell even know? We all get it...he is a New York kid but who really knows. I think it's funny that Bontemps said the Cavs should trade him this year LOL. If push comes to shove they can trade him next offseason, if not, sign him long-term if he wants to agree to a deal. No reason to do anything now.

Not sure I heard it this ironclad but was also supposed to be no chance Love would extend (after he first got here) and would go to LA.

agree with what you said you'd do if Cavs.....but so far the guy has given no indication he does not genuinely love his teammates or the area.

Pretty sure it's fact and not just rumor about how excited he was when he heard he was coming here (when he found out who was NOT included in the deal).

Have heard conflicting reports on when we can even offer to extend.

If Harden were to sit out 30 days to start the final year of his contract he couldn’t sign with anyone again, ever, without the Sixers approval. This is what the owners did about the Ben Simmons situation. Obviously Harden isn’t going there.

This is what the owners did about the Ben Simmons situation. Obviously Harden isn’t going there.
