So there it is, it's his personal struggle defending Edwards, not team struggle with the opponent overall. Makes more sense.
Also Wolves seem to do the best job of slowing down Jokic. I mean, he was still elite across the board, but by far his worst series.

My rules lol. Isn't defense half the game, or by YOUR rules only offense counts?

I amend my statement then. If Lillard is half a player, Herro is less than half a player. Better?
Make the rules whatever you want. Just be consistent with them.....and if shown your rules might be a little off base just own it. Yes, like an adult.

How can you not see that?

They are the 2 most self centered stars in the league.

Pretty obvious comp.
I just thought it was weird that you would push back on my claim that if Harden produces like last year that his value would be around 3/90 by citing a player that just got 3/120. Weird.

Yeah, Dallas negotiated against themselves with that Kyrie contract, pushing it upwards to attempt to keep Kyrie happy.

Nothing seems to keep Harden happy outside of strip clubs.
Value is value. If Kyrie is comped at 40 mil per year, it’s in keeping with that to project Harden being worth $30 a year. The problem is that Harden likely sees himself as being a 40-45 million dollar a year player. He’s not. Personally, I hate the Kyrie deal for Dallas. I don’t think he’s worth more than 30 million a year. Quite frankly, he’s a loser and a cancer to his team.

There you go Philly. This isn't my proposed trade btw. I don't get how pairing Quickley and Maxey is appetizing for Philly but NY has a ton of picks to throw in the deal. Picks wise, not many can do better unless OKC wants Embiid...which doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: RJ Barrett, Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Immanuel Quickley, 2024 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2024 First-Round Pick (DAL), 2026 First-Round Pick (NYK), 2028 First-Round Pick, 2030 First-Round Pick (NYK)

New York Knicks Receive: Joel Embiid, Jaden Springer

I don’t like any of those players much. Grimes is a one trick pony. They have better in Melton. RJ Barrett is meh. Fournier is less than meh. I like Quickley but as you said can’t play Maxey with Quickley. Two smaller dudes that struggle to defend.

This isn’t happening now. This is talk for next summer.

I don’t think the comp fits because Cuban was the only owner willing to go there. Irving doesn’t have the recent reminder of not performing in the playoffs either. At this point if anyone expects much of anything from Harden in a game that matters they are fooling themselves.
