I respect him and I don't respect you

I think he is wrong but won't waste time debating as the game is less than 3 hours away. I watched Indy last year go toe to toe with the eventual champs in the 2 games without Hali and they only got better this season
Oh please we both know you think I'm one of the best posters here LOL

But you appear to be doubling down that Hali isn't very important for this team. They could get a haul for him.

Considering the series was 2-2 when he got hurt, absolutely. He runs the offense...he isn't the only one but I would say he plays a big part on the team...unlike what others believe lol

Would’ve been 3-1 without deployment of the extender

That's true, but also true they were lucky NOT to have any injuries to their best players in the playoffs. Cavs and Cs were among the top teams going in along with OKC of course and injuries certainly helped do in Cs and Cavs (as you alluded).

Semantics perhaps…

But most teams get through the playoffs without major injuries.

Cavs and Celtics were unlucky for sure.

It is fair to say a team is lucky if they beat a top team that was missing stars. I don’t think it is fair to call a team lucky for avoiding injuries.

Especially when it was the odds on favorite to win before the playoffs started.

Hali getting hurt in game 5 definitely hurt Indy. To say OKC was the best team all year is fine but the fact is the series was 2-2 when Hali got hurt. Who knows if they had enough to win but they certainly proved they can beat any team on any given night. I could see if OKC was dominating the series but they aren't.

It was 2-2 yes.

Hali had 4 points and was -13.

He was playing like trash before he got hurt.

Hali is their best player.

He is important for sure.

He was not a huge factor in this series outside of the shot in game 1 and game 3.

I don't disagree but bks and I are just doing our thing

Also, to reiterate what triggered bks, him being hurt makes it more of a challenge for Indy

That is for sure.

But IMO, the reason is not because of Hali’s play.

It is because they essential y lose a high impact bench guy who is now likely to get Dorted.

Agree here too, that said, you both seem to be pretty unimpressed with Haliburton's importance...I would think you'd suggest they trade him for a ton of assets

Is Haliburton playing good in this series? Simple yes or no question
