ok....maybe I meant 79

so long as you know it's a lock OKC wins. No way they lose.

Hard to see Indy winning 2 straight. The real path to victory as it normally is for the road team after stealing HCA in games 1 or 2 is to not lose a home game. Winning 2 road games as underdog is a hard task to complete

Series became a challenge once they didn’t close out game 4

Because even more of a challenge when Haliburton got hurt

Not really. Indy offense isn’t centered on one guy. There will be no change in their offense tonight if Haliburton doesn’t play. This isn’t like ant being out for Minnesota where they will have to change their entire offense

I love when you say dumb shit just because you like arguing.

Yeah Haliburton being hurt has no effect LOL

They should trade him for draft picks

Does Indy offense change without Haliburton?

I also didn’t say him being hurt didn’t have any effect.

What I said is their offense does not change without him because it is not centered around him

Reading would help you

That was your response to me saying Haliburton being hurt made it more challenging for Indy. We're probably the most frequent posters here, us and thunder. You don't have to be like this with me. You said what you said, it's still there.

needs a floor of about 200m far more.

should not be so profitable to not even try.
A floor only does so much, the cheap teams will do everything they can to barely hit the floor. Doesn't "even things out" bc teams like LA, NY, CHI, BOS have huge markets and if needed will spend, spend, spend...who cares about luxury to an extent. If needed they can go with the Ohtani deferred contract (even though I think that is extremely rare). I would vouch for BOTH.

I mean yes…

But as @thunderc has said, Haliburton playing or not playing wasn’t going to swing this series the way OKC has shut him down.

OKC is not winning because they are lucky. They have been the best team all year.

And of course the Cavs got very unlucky.
Hali getting hurt in game 5 definitely hurt Indy. To say OKC was the best team all year is fine but the fact is the series was 2-2 when Hali got hurt. Who knows if they had enough to win but they certainly proved they can beat any team on any given night. I could see if OKC was dominating the series but they aren't.

Considering the series was 2-2 when he got hurt, absolutely. He runs the offense...he isn't the only one but I would say he plays a big part on the team...unlike what others believe lol

They were 3 minutes away from being down 3-1

I respect him and I don't respect you

I think he is wrong but won't waste time debating as the game is less than 3 hours away. I watched Indy last year go toe to toe with the eventual champs in the 2 games without Hali and they only got better this season
