Not going to hold Tjarks against him. He linked that to point out that the claim that nobody had Bennett 1 was wrong, not that he thought he was 1.

I maintain that they should have traded the pick for a time machine and future rights of Michael Jordan.

But since? KD and Beal boith wanted the Suns, most recently. Irving wanted the Lakers, but went to the Mavs.

Leonard and PG wanted LA. They may have been leaning Lakers at one point, but they both had a chance to go to the Lakers and chose the Clippers.

It's interesting that we're all on here talking about how the Blazers don't have to send Dame where he wants to go, but based on past precedent, that's exactly where he's going to end up.

When was the last time a star demanded to be traded to a specific team and didn't end up there? The closest I can think of was Kawhi who wanted LA, but had to spend 1 season winning a title in Toronto before ending up in...LA.

I'm sure he will, and Portland will get a shitty return is my point. Because Dame killed their leverage asking for one team only.

And Herro, Martin and a 1st or 2 is too much IMO. I know Dame is damn good but don't trade that much when Miami is where he wants to go.

Portland does not have to trade him where "he" wants to go. That's the thing that everyone has to realize.

This is going to be a trade that Portland ""wants"" to make that will get them what they think they ""Need"".
