Harden demanding a trade 3 times in 2 years is unreal, and it’s also part of the reason why Philly is having a hard time getting it done.
But, according to a Sixer fan...he has a reason not to cause any chaos....LOL

Why didn't the Wembinator play last night? Thought he was supposed to?

That's silly.

Herro, Bridges, and Cam isn't a contender but a fun young team.

Is it really though?

That is core destined to win somewhere between 35-45 games.

No thanks.

You only get compensated for taking back a contract like RW with a 1st rounder or somebody like Ben Simmons.....Not a 23yo who has not even sniffed his prime and is on a reasonable contract that can actually play and get better.

I am not talking about that at all.

I am merely pushing back on the idea that group makes a good young core.

It doesn’t.

Very little upside there.

Would be a good 2-3-4 if they could sign a superstar.

But that is not the base of a winning core.

And my comment was about having to compensate the Heat for adding Herro.....

The Nets need to sell tickets because they will never surpass the Knicks in NY.....much like the Clippers never surpassing the Lakers.....so if you cannot? Put an exciting young core on the court to sell tickets.....

Sure.

But like I said…

Bridges, Herro and Cam is not exciting.

Which is why the Nets don’t appear to be interested in dealing for Herro.

Last I will say, @tlance.....if the Nets can use a pick or 2 to unhload Simmons for very little or some expiring contracts?

You run out there with Herro, Bridges, Cam, Claxton, DFS, and Dinwiddie.....and then go FA shopping next summer (they would be way under the cap) or trade for another disgruntled player that wants out.

Denver had a bad FA.....lost Brown and Green.

Kept Jordan and Jackson. Should have kept Green, he actually played for the Nuggets in the playoffs and contributed....

In the spirit of America, and the load I’m in the process of tying on. I think that we should find a way to send Dame, Butler and Mikal Bridges to the birth place of freedom Philadelphia in exchange for Harden, Tobias Harris and 2 dozen crack heads from the corner of Kensington and Allegheny.

Sure.

But the free agent shopping is the key there.

Could work in the Brooklyn market.

Just saying I understand why teams aren’t excited about Herro as a trade asset.

Good complementary piece for a contender, but not a core guy for a rebuilding team.

So basically what teams seem to be saying is that they prefer cap flexibility over Tyler Herro.

And I agree that is the right approach for anybody that isn’t close to winning.
