Portland does not have to trade him where "he" wants to go. That's the thing that everyone has to realize.

This is going to be a trade that Portland ""wants"" to make that will get them what they think they ""Need"".

I want to spend a weekend with Sophia Vergara, I don't need to spend three minutes with her.

I have said the same thing about trading him where they want....get caught up in the thread.....but if nobody gives them what they want? Because other teams know he wants to be in Miami?

The Blazers may just trade him to Miami. Both sides are playing a game of chicken so to speak.

WE talk to each other more in this thread in a single day than all of the NBA teams talk to each other in an entire year. At least we talk about stuff more than they do.

I heard the league took the day off to picnic and go to the Fireworks tonight.

Four or five teams will reconnect tomorrow afternoon when the buzz wears off.

I suppose it depends on how committed Lillard is to it. He does not need the money, so if he refuses to play for any other team they are trading value for nothing.
