It’s pretty sad that apparently some actually expect a team to just bend and do something immediately that isn’t in their best interest. It will happen, jeez.
Lol i said nothing about the heat. Go back to what i said on Saturday then also yesterday. Only point im saying is they should not trade him to a shit team because they are in their feelings

I dont think it is a thing yet but if they trade him to a shitty team to be spiteful then it will be. As i said earlier, he would prefer to stay in Portland then be disrespected and intentionally sent to another bad team with no chance at a title. People been begging dame to leave Portland for at least 4 years now. He stuck it out until he felt they stopped trying to move forward. That CJ deal is probably when he started to realize that he may not finish his career here
He signed off on the CJ deal AND signed another extension after.

I honestly wasn’t taking about you, that was for the talk that the players are already putting out threats. That’s ridiculous.

I dont think it will be the players. I think it will more be agents who does most of the negotiating

I am not talking about the rookie ext bag lol. Im talking about the contract after the rookie extension so year 7 or 8
your LeBron example is probably the absolute worst you could possibly make.

Gilbert, ownership, absolutely crushed LeBron and fried him in the media when he left, and a few short years later he was back playing for Gilbert and making him money hand over fist.

I think Shaq would get in his head by being physical and take Embiid out of his game.

Yeah, the comparison was Prime Shaq and Prime Shaq was a monster. Plus, while he didn't like having to defend against the 3 or face ups...he was plenty athletic enough and was able to do it pretty effectively.

Embiid is really good and would hold his own for awhile, but Shaq was a blunt instrument and would eventually wear Embiid down physically.

Yeah, it's interesting. Shit teams probably aren't going to offer much because they know Dame won't want to be there and contenders can't give up a lot or they risk losing too much of what makes them contenders.

Gonna be awkward as fuck if this turns into a KD wanting out of Brooklyn situation.

Easiest deal is Herro getting flipped for like 2 firsts to go with miamis firsts and jovic and ideally Martin (who could be flipped for another first)

Yup.

Only difference being, Portland probably wants to trade Dame.

But, would rather he be the one to request it.

Still, they could hold firm like Brooklyn until they get a palatable deal from Miami.

Or, they can trade him to a good team, just not his first choice, like the Spurs did Kawhi.

Dame would have to decide if he will sit or not.

I do not for a second believe they will trade him to a bottom feeder.

Would you rather have Herro or Maxey?

If Philly decides to get serious, that could be the deciding factor.

Anyone else think it funny that Blazers gm wants to do what is best for the Blazers in any Lillard trade? He should have thought of trying that out BEFORE Lillard asked out.
