That won’t put him any closer to a chip.

Wemby would need to be prime Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmy Duncan, year 1.

Remember: Dame doesn’t want to play with a bunch of young guys.
Then why would he even mention the Spurs?

Portland doesn't have to trade Damian to Miami. I'm sure they'd like to help get Dame where he wants to go but Portland still needs to think bout their future. I'm sure Miami knows this and is already on the phones with other teams.
But they will.

Out of respect Portland will deal him to Mia.

You excited??

Send them Lowry, filler salary, pick(s).

The East might need to brace themselves.
Im nervous. If it happens then i will be super excited but i know Portland got better deals out there so hoping they give in and accept whatever the best miami got to offer.

Him and Russ been my favorite non heat players for like 10 years. Would be the best overall heat team since the big 3 era. Him, Jimmy, and Bam is a solid fit....a better fit on paper than wade, james, and bosh

Sure, if Miami can find a way to make it work, I'm sure that's their preference.
My guy, we will support you through this difficult time.

But, we gotta get passed the denial phase.

I think they would be insane to take what Miami can offer.

I also think they might do it anyway.

3 or 4 team trade would get the Blazers better assets.

But, most offers will be lowball after the public trade request.

LOL

Portland may want Bam but Miami isn't going to give him up...
Miami would be foolish to give up anything behind Lowry and filler. There are going to be better deals out there anyway. Nearly every team mentioned can craft a better deal than Miami’s best. So if it’s Miami it’s because the Blazers don’t care about anything other than loyalty to Dame.

I think it's best for Portland that they trade Lillard now. I'm not upset by this at all. They weren't going anywhere the next few years and I'd rather see them get assets and build with their young guards. Brooklyn just has better assets for Portland at the moment. I'm sure Portland would want to send Lillard to his preferred destination and I think that's still likely. I just don't think Portland has any interest in Herro.

I don’t think Dame surprised Portland with this, I bet they knew. It could be they wanted to get Grant locked up before it was announced.

Why would you pay that to grant if you knew dame was leaving?

That would be dumb as hell
