We don’t have either of those things.

So, stop fucking mentioning the Clippers…lol

Well, to be fair, outside of a couple of "they're one of the teams Kyrie will meet with" tweets that turned out to be bullshit, the Lakers have been pretty boring so far this off-season.

Reporters have to get their "LA fix" in, so they pivot to the Clippers.

@fightinfunbags looks like Wolves plan to play Shake almost exclusively at point, is he a fit for that? Never reall watched his game.

I disagree.

I think Dame has proven beyond any doubt that he wanted to stay in Portland. They have just never put a contending roster around him.

He finally reached a point in his career where he was willing to put some real demands on them and they responded by basically ignoring what he said. So, now he wants out.

I don't blame him for wanting out. He wasn't going to reach the ultimate goal with the Blazers anyway.

Could've said so before the draft, or before free agency started, etc. Of course, don't know when he told the team...

From what I've seen, he's been telling them all off-season. How much more clear does he need to be than saying he's not down with playing with guys who are 2-3 years away and saying they need to trade that #3 pick?

Uh, Da fuq?

Spurs?

Why would she just casually mention this shit?

Cap space, 3 2024 firsts, Wemby, young talent to trade, cap relief for Blazers possible.

Sounds about perfect?

Yep. Look how that is worded:
Technically Herro and Robinson are young players. A 2027 and a 2029 1st also constitute draft assets. Meanwhile, they’re taking back worse contracts and worse draft assets they could get from others. Dame delineating only one team he will go to is going to fuck over Portland. Knowing this, Riley should just offer them Lowry’s expiring deal and whatever trash is laying around on their cap along with a 2nd round pick.
Absolutely.

Portland can reroute Lowry to the Clippers for other expiring deals.

I don’t know if “need” is really the word. If Miami and/or Dame take a hard line Portland will bend over like a $5 whore.

Portland doesn't have to trade Damian to Miami. I'm sure they'd like to help get Dame where he wants to go but Portland still needs to think bout their future. I'm sure Miami knows this and is already on the phones with other teams.

Yes. I see guys in terms of who they cover. He would get assigned the smallest guard. He’s a turnstile bro. That’s why he can’t start. He is absolutely a bucket though.

If the Spurs could add him for the 2024 firsts, 1 young star (Keldon or Sochan) and maybe a salary like McDermott?
That won’t put him any closer to a chip.

Wemby would need to be prime Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmy Duncan, year 1.

Remember: Dame doesn’t want to play with a bunch of young guys.

Good about the defense. KAT has felt so alone surrounded by an entire team that plays defense.
