It isn’t that he disappears. It’s just that he isn’t effective in the playoffs. Teams know he’s a shooter so they don’t leave him when it comes time to double vs a star or penetration. On the defensive end, he’s a liability. I get the signing though. The Cavs sorely need shooting from somewhere. Sixers were in that spot coming out of the Process. That’s why they signed guys like JJ Redick and Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova on the buy out market. They sorely needed shooting and they sacrificed defense to get it. They learned over time that they need the shooter to be able to hold their own defensively because 37-40% from 3 doesn’t matter when that player is giving up points on 75% of the possessions against them.
He is the reverse Gobert.

Guess he was completely full of shit saying he wanted to stay in Portland? Kinda funny. Instead of BS-ing everyone he should have asked for a trade a while ago.

I disagree.

I think Dame has proven beyond any doubt that he wanted to stay in Portland. They have just never put a contending roster around him.

He finally reached a point in his career where he was willing to put some real demands on them and they responded by basically ignoring what he said. So, now he wants out.

Could've said so before the draft, or before free agency started, etc. Of course, don't know when he told the team...

I saw this play out with KG. Without seeing that first hand I might feel different, but the joy I had when KG got his ring....so worth it.

Why would she just casually mention this shit?

But not sure what they’d trade out

Seems like keldon and picks?

We don’t have either of those things.

So, stop fucking mentioning the Clippers…lol

Yep. Look how that is worded:
Technically Herro and Robinson are young players. A 2027 and a 2029 1st also constitute draft assets. Meanwhile, they’re taking back worse contracts and worse draft assets they could get from others. Dame delineating only one team he will go to is going to fuck over Portland. Knowing this, Riley should just offer them Lowry’s expiring deal and whatever trash is laying around on their cap along with a 2nd round pick.

I think you are both partly right.

He should have done it Monday.

He totally knew he wanted out,

But, he did want to give them a chance for one final Hail Mary.

Well damn. From warriors wire.

Klay Thompson's 'issues' with former Warriors' teammate revealed

:pound:

Poole's position with the franchise had become untenable due to poor relationship with the Warriors all star core.

Ha! What a dumbass wolvereeeen. Now it makes sense why Dray sucked punched him.
