Just like when SJ traded for EK my only thought is “couldn’t they have used the assets/cap space on something more useful?”. He just isn’t really filling a need here and they got him at his most expensive. Flip side, if this works Pit will score 8000 goals next season.Gotta say that right now it feels like no one won this trade.
Dammit. I just sold my Petry jersey last month.
The Penguins were already old, crusty and in cap hell so getting rid of turds for different turds didn't really matter. Not really sure what these deals accomplished for the Sharks or Canadiens as both teams took on crap players and more cap space. The price for the Sharks to get rid of that long term pain of ek’s contract was the short term cap hit of 2 meh forwards who i guess they can flip if they both find their games (granlund seems washed to me though )
They have less cap space for 23/24 than they did before the trade but its go off track for mack time anyways
I have a Habs Josh Gorges jersey
This guy paid you to take it.lol - I got a great deal several years ago at a sports store in Montreal.
Signed KHLCoyotes terminate contract of Alex Galchenyuk 12 days after they signed him
I don't see many glaring holes on the Canes.i pull for the hurricanes since they are the team closest to me.they have not done a damn thing in the offseason that i recall.
Forever thankful for Gorges rejecting a trade to Toronto to wind up in Buffalo lolI have a Habs Josh Gorges jersey with #26 on the back - Isn't that Petry's number? I can send it to you
if this wedding took place in Boston, they were promptly beaten to a pulp for being "fricking queeee-ahs"Bergy and Marchand at McAvoy's wedding
There it is. The missing piece the Oilers finally needed to win the cup.I wish him well.
That changes if he makes the team, of course
He hasn't been able to walk a flight of stairs without getting winded for the past couple of years. There it is. The missing piece the Oilers finally needed to win the cup.
