Between him and Reaves I bet @Bloody Brian Burke and other leafs fans are lining up for the parade.

Only way this happens is if they buy out Murray or trade Nylander so..

He's number 1 in defense - That's what the Leafs need :D

Eye test tells me is not that bad. 3 mil is league average. I don't think he was a need for the Loafs but this is OK for them.

Even the person who wrote the tweet in a later response said the same. His value is essentially this on a short term deal.

Having watched him here a lot, he has a ton of energy and heart, and shows flashes of being able to beat anyone trying to stop him. And he really got players on the other team riled up.

His biggest issue is he seems to have some brain block reading when he should turn on the jets vs going out of his way to hit someone. So many times he killed momentum by deciding "I'm gonna hit someone this shift no matter what happens" and taking an intensely stupid penalty. I'd welcome him back, but not heartbroken some other fanbase has to deal with it now.

Remember when this clown went 6th overall and bashed a few teams that passed on him?

I just looked at the draft, the Canucks took Quinn Hughes with the next pick.

I mean, Matthew Tkachuk might have still moved on to a different team by now and who knows if the Canucks would have still been in the same position to draft Quinn, but imagine having Matthew and Quinn on the same team?
