Okay, so....

No I did not say "Oh, Queso!"...

Taylor Lewan was just released.

Would you?
He's pretty good when not injured. Former 1st round pick and 3 time pro bowler. He's not THE answer, but he's AN answer.
Right price I would sign him with heavy incentives.

Titans have been mocked by nearly everybody to pick an OT to replace Taylor Lewan.
He'd love to sign a deal with NE to help the Titans and stick it to the Pats.
No on every level - he is done!

Another thing. Matty had no idea whatsoever how to take advantage of 4.25 speed and 6'4" of Tyquan Thorton. My gut says that BOB will immediately start working with that kid and get him much more involved in the passing game.

Devante Parker, Tyquan Thorton, Kendrick Bourne, Raliegh Webb, Tre Nixon and Lynn Bowden are the WRs on the team right now. If these six stick, that leaves two open slots. BB will not even attempt to sign Agholor. I don't think Jakobi will turn down the big money that he will be offered from other teams and come back at a discount. He's the best WR available in free agency and someone is going to offer him $16-$17M and BB will not pay him that kind of green.

Third round possibilities might be Cedric Tillman TENN. 6'3" 215, A.T. Perry WF 6'5" 205, Xavier Hutchinson Iowa St 6'3" 205 or Joseph Ngata CLEM 6'3" 215.. These four are ranked by Walters between 177 and 140.

I agree that if we do not grab a WR @14 the WRs you mentioned are big targets not necessarily #1 WRs

If Bill wouldn't pay Brady $25M million year,
I just have to ask, why do you keep saying that?

On August 4, 2019, Brady signed a two-year contract extension worth $70 million through the 2021 season.

Brady also never even opened the offer Bill made before he left.

Bill was supposedly reluctant to offer Brady a contract in 2018 for a two year extension for $50M.
We all know now that Brady had made the decision not to stay and wasn't going to be here beyond 2019.

Has BB ever paid anyone other than Brady more than $20M a year?

Who really knows exactly what was said, offered, or even considered. The news we get is from the same guys that no one wants to believe about anything.

But a lot of that is affected by CAP Conditions and TB12 took cuts to bring in talent, IMO it's unfair to say BB didn't pay him when he was taking cuts and potential CAP tight years

A very interesting 7-round mock that has one glaring fault. What is it?

I find several. Here's two that jump out. 1) A 155lb receiver in the 2nd round? 2) There's no way the Pats are taking that QB in the 6th round.

I don’t see any glaring faults. And I profiled Dell in our Prospect topic. I love him!!! I also said Ringo is my favorite DB. I’m down with this mock.

I recall somebody being pretty high on Dell but couldn't remember who it was. My comment at the time was he's about 50lbs smaller than Deon Lewis to put it into perspective. But I'd give him a shot if you feel that solid about him.

We all think or hope that certain guys will be around when BB picks. I saw this guy three times on TV this year and I honestly believe he will be around in the 3rd Round. Unless there's a run on DBs. Anyway, he plays both CB and Safety. He looks like crane standing around a bunch of sandpipers.

2/11/23: Johnson recorded 71 tackles, a sack, three forced fumbles and one pass broken up in 2022. He played really well for Texas A&M, impressing team evaluators. Johnson went down with an injury against Alabama, and while he missed a good portion of the season, he played well in the final weeks of the year.
6/30/22: Johnson is a massive corner who broke out for the Aggies in 2021. The sophomore recorded 79 tackles, an interception and five passes defended on the year. Johnson has phenomenal length and size to match up against NFL receivers. If he does well against speed receivers in the SEC, he could be a high riser for the 2023 NFL Draft. Some evaluators are concerned Johnson could be too tall and leggy to run with pro receivers, so they will be watching closely how he does against top receivers during the 2022 season.
