Lots of good thinking guys.

The glaring problem with this mock is:

Where is the corner?
There are a lot of good corner prospects in this draft and we don't take one?????

That is a bad pick.
I guess time will tell. I think he’s the most exciting WR in this draft. His 200+ receptions his 2400 yards and almost 30 TD’s in the last 2 seasons shows he can play. I’d take him over any WR on our team currently.

At the Senior Bowl he weighed in at 163. Still skinny as fuck. But heavier than 150.

Modeled his game after Welker and Edelman, but not as athletic as those two.
Just watched a few clips of him and he does look a lot like Edelman. the three of four shots all showed him 15-20 yards and he seemed to be able to break contact from the defenders. IMO he's s substantial upgrade from Harry and Agholor

You concluded this from a few clips?

Yep. He's much quicker off the line than Harry or Agholor. Great hands which we all kniw Agholor did not have. On two clips, he made a slight move then a hard cut . Harry was never a great route runner, even in college. He got the Patriots and had to run a route for TB12 and could never do it. Agholor is a lazy route runner and sometimes just didn't get where was supposed to be.

I just like the effort I saw, and as I said, IMO.

Well there is a reason he was an UDFA, and he has been cut, plus the injury. I get that UDFA can make it but to me this one has question marks. And I am equally unsure how anyone could compare him to Harry they play entirely different positions.

They both play WR and are required to run routes, make definitive moves during that route, get to a certain spot and catch the football if they are the target. Not entirely different positions.

He may be a broken toy. Sometimes, when the toy is fixed, it is better than a new one because the repair has made it more durable.

I'm not saying that he's the next Edelman, but he might, "MIGHT", be able to fill a hole that needs to be plugged.

Okay that's a stretch so I will leave it alone

It's that time of year to be hopeful!
It will soon be sorted out.....
It makes sense to work him out as a slot WR b/c I feel Jakobi is gone. I cannot see BB drafting two WRs this year.

Comparing a supposed #1 WR to a Slot WR. To me that is like compaing a FB to a scat back
Edelman was not a #1 WR when he came up.
It took him a few years to get going. Most did not recognize him as a WR but strictly a slot.
I was soundly rebuked when I said he was not just a slot and had better hands than Welker.
He developed into the star WR that we loved. - most Pats fans wanted him cut when he hurt his foot early in his career!

We can only go back 40 pages on our posts. It would be very entertaining to read the early (Pats fans) posts on Edelman!
