You are correct but some people just like to bitch about the refs.Maybe I’m wrong but I thought what he cited was the way the rule is supposed to be interpreted. If the ball is still attached and connected to the hand you can contact the hand on a block. The reason why we see it called most often is it’s really hard to do that without getting any arm or body but KCP didn’t get arm or body. He just got hand.
Am I getting this call wrong? I’ve always heard “hand is part of the ball.”
