These next 3 games will be the most important a lot of these Nuggets players will likely ever play, and I say 3 because I’m not taking the Heat lightly and just because they’re down 3-1 doesn’t mean they are gonna stop trying and give Denver an easy win.

I know some people have ragged Malone this season for always treating his team like the underdog but that’s the exact mentality they should have because they haven’t proven anything yet. If they get too confident and all of a sudden it’s 3-3 with the Heat having all the momentum they’re in big trouble.

I’m at peace with whatever happens. Either the Nuggets win their first championship in team history, or they’ll be the second team to blow a 3-1 Finals lead. I obviously am rooting for the former to happen but I’m just grateful to be able to see them play on the biggest stage in their sport. With the Avs last year and fingers crossed the Nuggets this year it’s been a good last few years for Colorado sports fans.

I just saw a stat that said if the Nuggets win they’ll be the first Western Conference non California or Texas team to win a championship since 1979.

I mean, TX and CA teams are half the conference but that's still kind of interesting. Another way to say it is only 5 different Western conference teams have won the title since 1979
