Yep Murray is the main problem. I would focus more on slowing him down and let Jokic eat.

I can live with 14 from Porter, 7 from KCP, and 10 from Brown.

Gordon had too much due to the silly switches but Murray is the key. Much easier said than done though

True. Gotta make Joker be a scorer and make him work for it, then deny everyone else, especially Murray.

Especially after a game 1 HOME WIN

I still remember being in a sports bar watching the Showtime Lakers lose game 1 of the '85 finals to Birds Celtics 148-114 in the Memorial Day Massacre in the old Boston Garden. My friend who was a Celtics fan was talking about a sweep.

The Lakers won the series 4-2.

Same Denver is a great team but this game doesn't worry me too much on the offensive side. Be more aggressive with attacking the paint and hit open shots. Defense is my big concern

That the Heat have some things they can build on and that Spo and his staff have some work to do on adjustments. Fortunately, they have a great staff who has 2 days to figure something out.

Also, they need Herro back.

You can’t live on it or you have to keep switching the zone schemes because Jokic will figure that shit out. But it’s weird isn’t it? Basketball has become such a drilled game with shooting. You change angles and rhythm and you can get more misses than usual in a make or miss league.

Heat really need some Herro right now. They are coming out of a long series. Jimmy’s got that ankle. Nuggets have size on them at every position. They just need a shot of adrenaline and energy regardless of how Herro plays and how many minutes he gives.

It must be said though that I don’t think Denver played their A level game either. I think they have more to give than what they saw on display tonight. The lay off didn’t show up early but they didn’t look like the same machine later.

Still think this will be a series.

what would concern me about the Heat is they were +15 points from 3.

If they are to win the series, or make it competitve, they will have to really outshoot the Nuggets from 3- and they hit 13 3's tonight........I guess we wil lsee.

I thought the defense did well tonight.

Lowest point total for Denver in a month. Second fewest points in a game this playoffs.

Gotta have more than Haywood Humphries hitting shots.

if Denver goes up 2-0 it’s trouble for the Heat, I don’t think they recover… Heat almost have to steal one in Denver to make a series out of this, game 2 is HUGE for the Heat …
