2023 Draft - Bears Edition - Day 2

Rounds 2 & 3 coming up, where at this point we have 3 picks total: 53, 61, 64. This could be territory where Poles moves back at some point for additional picks. But this could also be territory where Poles uses some of his Day 2 & 3 to move up. Is there a player he covets sitting somewhere in the 30's or 40's that he's willing to sacrifice some capital in order to grab him? This all remains to be seen.

Obviously some do not apply to our needs or wants, but I'm guessing if we hang onto our 3 picks for today, we can fill those spots with players from this list. There's some real talent remaining on the DL, OL, and CB, the three areas where I'd like to see addressed at some point in the draft, if not by today. There's also almost surprisingly significant talent at the TE spot as well. Thought at least 2 or as many as 4 would have been snatched up in Rd 1.

There are still players to be had when the Bears use Picks 53 and 61 in Round 2 and No. 64 in Round 3.

Unlike the previous list I posted, which was simply the top 50 players still around, this one, altho only referencing 25 players, is more tailored to our specific needs. Let's see if any or all three of our picks tonite come from this list.

Couldn't agree more, but as they say, never say never. We can't rule out an unexpected pick coming from left field, altho TBH, I'm more confident that this won't happen based on last night's 1st round. There is a LOT of talent remaining on the DL. And if Poles wants to try and slip in another OL, there's some serious talent remaining there, altho it's a bit thinner in numbers.

That front 7 was soooo bad last year, and the front 4 was the worst of the bunch by a lot. I can barely even think of a player's name on that front 4 aside from the rookie, Robinson. I think they shored up the LBs, but that front 4 is still pretty shitty.

I'd be shocked if Poles didn't dedicate a minimum of one player tonite for the DL, and if I was a betting man, I'd say he goes with two.
