I'll give him some credit, he started improving last season, which we know I hit up on. This year he has been solid, so if his game keeps getting better I won't be to disappointed if he doesn't get traded.

Even though he is playing well please god let him get traded so we can split his money between Walker, Seeler ,Brink/Tippett.

Cutter Gauthier 10th in the nation in points and 2nd in the nation in goals for the number 1 team in the nation in college hockey.:yahoo:

Should play a big role at World Juniors too. I think most of what I’ve seen has him centering their 1st line.

So if we was to make the playoffs, could this kid make his debut then or am I thinking something else

Most likely he’ll be able to suit up for the last few regular season games too. College season, even the championship game, typically ends a week or two before the nhl regular season.

We beat the Devil's in Devil'sland in overtime and I love watching the Flyers embarrass the Devil's on their home ice about as much as I love watching Pissburgh get their asses handed to them on a consistent basis!!

Tonight's win late in OT via an extraordinary individual effort from Owen Tippett really solidifies our ability to now be able to come from behind in games and also avenge previous losses. As well as Tippett played last season, I don't think he's making the steal and finishing the breakaway at that point, which just shows his growth and maturity to date. That's the kind of clutch steal and game-winning snipe that only elite players make, which probably all of us would say Tippett is not. Perhaps it's time to reconsider.

To me, this felt like our recent win against the Caps in a shootout. In both games, we left two opponents wide open in front of our net, which led to goals against. We trailed early and often, but kept answering the bell and won both games beyond regulation.

So, there are definitely big mistakes being made defensively at times and our power play is bad, but we are overcoming that time and time again.

In the now extended absence of Hart, Ersson is really stepping up huge when needed, especially in the OT and shootout. It legit feels like we have two top starting goalies, when both healthy of course.

The record is 18-10-3 as we all know, but that doesn't tell the whole story. We're 13-3-2 since November 8th, which has to be the best record in the Nhl over that stretch. That's basically a month and a half straight.

We have yet another shot to avenge a loss against Nashville in Philly on Thursday night. I don't think any team in the Nhl scares or even intimidates us right now, so bring on all comers.

Speaking of Nashville, NJ appears to have stolen their goal celebration of "Hey, you suck!!," which I always thought was corny as fuck anyway.

It is indeed remarkable that Briere and Tortorella have quietly constructed a very tough and defense-oriented true grit team that now is third in the Eastern Conference.

Slowly, but surely, players are emerging with grit and determination, none of us could have predicted. Who knew Ersson would eventually play to the level of Hart and sometimes better than Hart? Who knew? Apparently Briere and Torts did!

I believe the PP will eventually be fixed to become stellar. We shall see how this happens. In the interim, it sure is fun watching these badass Flyers!!
