Somehow other teams put good use to the lower level skilled players that we seem to have an abundance of. If was a battle of 4 4th lines, we would probably be a contender.

Anyways, back to puck drop. I think this season could go a couple of different ways. I think we could surprise a few people and actually thrive a little bit more than expected, maybe challenge for the eighth seed even. I mean we do actually have some good players, and you never know when someone will have their breakout season. I've always said chemistry goes a long way. One thing also I will give Torts credit for, is he can squeeze a lot of talent out of players who normally only have a small debt ceiling. Be nice , get the younger talent focused on what it takes to win and grow. We'll see I guess, hoping for the best, fingers crossed.

I am not expecting much but if we play hard in every game like we did for 85% of last year i will be happy and let the chips fall where they may.

It really is a toss up for me at this point. Like I said earlier, we have 2 players coming back and could have great season being 100% healthy, we IMO, have 2 pretty good starting lines, and we have at least 2 more players that could have breakout seasons, we have a very good goalie situation, the biggest question mark will be defense. We didn't add anything to be excited about that's for sure. We'll see how much we truly miss provy and who steps into a number one role? Be very interesting to say the least.
