Anyone have a feeling if Carter Hart is caught up in the 2018 Hockey Canada World Junior scandal? Police initially investigated and closed the investigation in February 2019. After a woman was paid a settlement in 2022 a new investigation was launched by Hockey Canada. The results are due soon. Hart and a few others have gone private with social media. Also, I thought Petersen was a salary dump by LA, but there are currently 3 goalies on the roster. Hopefully, he wasn't involved but who knows.

I think i read that the woman was paid off in a settlement and part of that was that shed drop any charges she was going to file. Personally i feel that Hart will not be charged but if any team is equipped to handle a goalie being out for an extended time we are. We have 8 more goalies to choose from.

The criminal investigation is over. I have no idea what grounds he could even be suspended since the criminal was dropped. As you said, there is a Plan A - G if something happens.

I have a feeling it will be a lot like last year because of Torts. Start out good be very competitive for the rest of the year while falling out late due to lack of star power and getting a good pick while fielding a competitive team.

Be nice to be in some kind of good position late, would like to see how the current roster would handle it, plus be a good learning experience going forward, show where we need the biggest improvements.

Yeah the whole team of goalies is still a little mind boggling? Safety in numbers I guess. bAlso will be interesting to see what a couple of healthy solid players added back to the line up will bring.

I think both Sandstrom and Petersen would have to clear waivers, which is why they may keep 3. All things considered, I thought Ersson looked pretty good, but I think he can be sent down without waivers. He should be the backup.

To me i thought a lot of games last year Errsson looked like the best goalie we have. If we keep Hart we need to get a nice pick for Errsson or the other way around.

Everything happening fast now. Rookies are on ice for their camp beginning tomorrow and everyone else a week later, on the 21st. The first preseason game is on the 25th at NJ. The final preseason game is October 5th and our regular season opens on October 12th at Columbus.
