One name to keep in mind for the Rangers to take with their 4th or 5th round pick is 1B Ivan Melendez from Texas. He was drafted last year in the 16th round by the Marlins. He decided to gamble in himself and play another year for the Longhorns. So far it has paid off for him.

His nickname is "The Hispanic Titanic." One site had him projected to go 128 overall.

I wonder who gets traded before the season starts. What is the probability for each of the following guys to get traded?

Heim
Trevino
W. Calhoun
Solak
K. Calhoun

It seems to me that as good as Solak and Miller have been this spring, and with as much faith as they seem to have in White, and with Bubba and Taveras in the wings, that an outfielder will be traded. I wonder if they regret signing Kole Calhoun yet?

I think so and hard to trade him. Willie may be gone too. Solak has been good and is DH tonight. Think Heim is gone too.
