Let's give it 4 or 5 weeks into the regular season just to be safe, but it looks really good so far.

When your big off season pitching addition is projected a 4.69 ERA and you are excited about that, your pitching staff sucks. I was not excited about the addition of Gray.....he's negligible IMO.

His was the 4.26.

2 runs so far this inning on a double, a walk, and two singles. 5-1 good guys at the moment.

One of those hits was by Duran. He has his ST average up to .400.

Michael Conforto's Options In Free Agency Dwindling

MLB Network’s Jon Heyman suggests a new suitor in his latest podcast (Conforto talk around the 41-minute mark), calling the Rangers perhaps the likeliest team to jump on Conforto. Texas has already forfeited a second-round and third-round selection in order to sign Corey Seager and Marcus Semien, meaning the draft-pick cost of signing Conforto would be down to a fourth-rounder for them. That, however, would still run counter to prior reports on the Rangers’ spending plans; Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported shortly after the lockout lifted that Texas viewed Matt Olson and Clayton Kershaw (both of whom they pursued but were unable to acquire) as special cases but otherwise did not plan to plan to spend significantly.

i think the pitching will be better than expected this year.

The thought process being Gray is he will be more effective with his breaking stuff due to the altitude change
Plus more stability not having to go to different pitches home vs road

I would hope so but I sure would like to add a better rotation piece, an upgrade over Perez and Howard
