I just saw where the Twins put someone on the 60 day today.

which is why i'm wondering why the Rangers haven't put Leclerc and J. Hernandez on the 60-day. neither will ready until June

SS - Story
Mix and match the OF/DH/Bench with Garcia and Garver and then some combination of Tavares, the Calhouns, Miller, White, Ibanez, Hernandez, Solak combination

I'd like Garver's bat in the lineup as much as possible therefore limiting his time at catcher

Doubt it. I think they're just about done playing musical players for awhile, they really want to see what the younguns have before going any further...

He is saying if you make the plunge short term with Story, that that means you are in win now mode and that would have to include a couple of rotation improvements.

neither can i. it isn't necessary for us to do this even we sign Story. if we sign him to a multi-year deal with him able to opt out after each season then we could see 2023 as a playoff season

We are down 10-0 but pitching is likely not our strength is year. Story or no Story we need to be patient especially with what we have coming up.

Not thinking I want to trade our pitching for really good vet pitching.

I agree. I don't think Adam does though, and there are sure to be others who feel like he does. Which side the front office falls in, is yet to be determined. We would have to get Story to find out, and that is certainly not a given.

This is one thing to consider when considering signing Story. You would have a very hard time going over slot for the first round pick.

If we get a 3-4 reasonable signing of Story I want him. A contract like Corea with the opt outs. No

Would have rather had Suzuki. But I do think LF or CF might work for Story.
