Then again I think a couple of pitchers have to go back to the 60 day DL and that might spare a few of those bodies temporarily if they don't keep a couple of the recently signed pitchers...
Do they have to wait until the end of ST to put guys on the 60 day DL? I am not sure they can do that now, but maybe.

And then around the start of every spring training, players get placed on the 60-day DL, as it’s again made available.

i see Kole as the DH so Willie hasn't got a spot.
I don't think he'll be full time because you won't want Garver's bat sitting on the bench when he isn't catching, and then it's also a good place to give guys some rest which they need throughout the season. (And yes this could mean keeping 3 catchers)...

Isn't Beltre's son supposed to be "hot stuff" too???
Like father like son I hope but can't imagine. Being as good or better than his dad is not comprehensible.

So guessing CC had a long term contract pre lockout. Lost money unless
He comes through this season

Correa is definitely banking on having a good year to try again.
He has 3 tries now with the twins taking all the risk and him making $100+ No matter what.

He’s definitely winning either way I guess

I can see both sides of this story...

He wants a bit of security and I think he envisions a WS in their future at the 3-4 year mark and wants a ring. The team wants flexibility when it comes to the next wave of players coming up from the minors and for potential resigning of existing players...

What about the Vlads ? Lol
Both good players but I haven't seen Jr that much, I wonder if he hits "bad balls" as well as his Dad did

Griffey should have stayed in Seattle he might have set the HR record if he had, going to Cincy was a very bad move for him...
I judge Beltre in all fields. In the field, at the plate, in the club house, media, teammate etc.

i don't disagree. Kole will get some time in the OF and like you said we'll be rotating people into the DH to give them rest

i'd give him a deal like the Correra deal offer him 3 or 4 years at an AAV of 25M with him being able to opt out after each year

If we sign Story, will we trade away those 5 to 8 top 20 prospects the way I thought we would awhile back? One of them has already left in the Garver trade.
