The big question remains! When will Harry's 5th year option be voided!
Must be done today!
I think BB is trying to get something for Harry and Stidham and teams are sitting back saying, "Mehhh we'll wait for you to cut them"!

The standard response to that is: if they trade a bag of balls for the player they don't have to compete to sign them.

No deadline problem for Stidham. Harry's option will be traded or voided by 11:59 this evening.
Somebody will be sitting by the phone waiting to hear from anybody. His 5th year option would cost over $14 million. Laugh, it's ok!
Stidham can hang around until cut-downs......

Just stating Stidham may also be odd man out, never indicated he or his deal are problematic. But if cutting Harry saves 14 Mil in cap space not sure why he isn't gone already

begging for something in a trade!
There was no reason to let him go early. This is the deadline for his 5th year option.
We likely void the option and continue to try to trade his 4th year contract.
Had he been any good, the 5th year could have added value to another team. But alas.........

Fuck Dude. I was simply stating and in one comment that BB may also be looking to get rid of Stidham in hopes of getting something in return. What the fuck must you always over analyze every damn thing

I see...IMHO...maybe a fifth for Stidham.

Which means if BB could put together a package for Stiddy and Harry it would then become worth...a sixth?

BB Drafted a QB or two not to keep a guy he won't let play. Getting something for Stidham this makes sense to me he obviously does not like the kid take a 6th next year we will then have 104 sixth round picks

Well I think it makes perfect sense to cut the strings of Stidham. Honestly he's never going to play, not sure what the cap hit and you may have to couple him with Harry just to get rind of Harry, although Harry is a forgone conclusion

No.
Apologies for responding with more detail than you desired.
Fuck, dude, indeed. I don't understand you getting upset over my comment.
I was not disagreeing with you.

So what is the begging for something in a trade comment. Who begged I made a comment getting rid of Stidham too. I understood it was for 5th year options again it was a comment more geared toward not needing him and clearing any cap space. Seem like disagreeing to me

Yeah, I get that.

The joke being Stiddy is worth little in a trade scenario but when coupled with a former first round pick, he's worth even less.
The knock in this joke is that Harry is undeserving of any worth at all that he brings down their value.

Apologies if I seemed like I was disagreeing - I wasn't.
I see the Patriots holding on to Harry, hoping somebody will give anything for him. Begging was hyperbole.
He doesn't count against anything at all until June.

The New England Patriots declined receiver N’Keal Harry’s fifth-year option.
Every first-round rookie has a clause in their contract that allows teams to opt into a fifth year of their deal, which would pay the player at the average of the third through 25th highest salaries at a player’s position (for players, like Harry, who were selected from picks 11 to 32). It makes perfect sense that Harry, who has demanded a trade and has been an all-around disappointment for New England, would not get that fifth-year option.

During his time with the Patriots, he has 57 catches for 598 yards and four touchdowns. He is one of the biggest first-round busts in Bill Belichick’s tenure as the Patriots coach and general manager.

Well let's see what this draft brings on that front of biggest busts

God I hope I don't have to eat my words here but it's hard to imagine a bigger bust than Harry at this point, assuming the recently drafted players don't get a career ending injury prior to the season.

A lot of people former players, media guys, coaches are thinking BB lost it and this draft is the worst of any team this year
