he Patriots did not tender restricted free agent WR/PR Gunner Olszewski, making him a free agent.

Olszewski was an All-Pro return man in 2020 but has never developed as a wide receiver. Still only 25, it is possible Olszewski is brought back for less than the "low" amount of $2.433 million.

Does not mean he will not stay here. At a cheaper price.
If he is cheaper than the top 51 during season, he won't count against the cap.
Don't know what practice squad rules are in place this year?

I ma okay with this.

Me too but he did start to finally grow on me. He was fantastic last season on making good hard yards after the catch. He just couldn't run it up the middle to save his life and I'll never know why they still called those plays over and over again.

Guys..............It's a house cleaning. He's not offering tenders on anyone, he's trading starters and back ups. He's creating open spots that he can fill without agonizing over them.

Six players over $10M, five over $5M. Everyone else is under $5M.

Getting rid of Agholor and Harry would free up ($14.8M / $3.2M) $18M and give him a real shot at several guys who could really help.

I have to admit, it looks like does have a plan and it's like the old BB of the mid point (2007,08,09) when he was piecemealing things and solidifying the core.

Again, just my opinion.

Mason still have to pass a physical and he's on a yacht somewhere so money that might not be off the books just yet

If BB doesn't cut him, Keene might have shot at FB. Unfortunately, he has shown nothing in the few nanoseconds he spent on the field. As for Gunner, I hate to see him go but Slade Bolden intrigues me an Edelman wannabe.

BB always finds a good FB. So I'm not worried. Liked Johnson and thought his German heritage would be enough to keep him around. I was/still am planning on going to watch NE play in Germany.

Liked Gunner as well but he scared me. Not as much last year as the year before though. He always seemed to want to return it when he should've fair caught it and vice a versa.

Anyway good luck to both of them.

AFC West is going to be brutal this year. I'm glad the only one we have is the Raiders. You know Josh will have them pumped.
