I don't think Murray is better than Garland.

They are so different that its a matter of preference.

Murray the better defender and two-way guy, Garland the better pg.

This is like asking if healthy Kawhi is better than healthy Durant.

But, I think Mitchell and Garland are better.

So, if the Hawks have the 1st and 4th best player and the Cavs have #2 and 3, it's a wash at best.

Last 2 games Okoro is 13-16 and 3-5 from 3. Not holding my breath. Nothing has changed…he is being left open but now knocking down shots. Now he has to do it when it matters.

The most important aspect is the willingness to shoot and keep shooting even when they aren’t going down. Like that kid a lot.

Usually having the best player is better than have 2nd and 3rd.

But I think that Trae is only a tiny bit ahead of Mitchell and Garland. I put Murray a bit behind the other 3 but I also haven't watched him much.

For me, I look at how the two compliment each other. I think the Atlanta pairing measures higher on that metric until Donovan Mitchell commits to playing defense. He has that potential. When he was coming out of Louisville draft write ups on him praised his defensive potential. He really has been a dog defensively to this point.

Mitchell has the chance of being a competent defender if he puts in the effort. No amount of effort is ever going to make Trae a competent defender. He will ALWAYS be a defensive target.
