Has Westbrook's legacy been revised? Yeah, he won an MVP and had those triple double seasons, but it was because of high usage. He's the greatest stat padder ever, but how great of a player is he really?

Imagine if Russ could swallow his pride and just play within the system and do what the Lakers needed? He would turn the Lakers around and probably extend his career 3 or 4 more years. But that seems close to impossible.

That might be true but he did a shit ton of stupid stuff like stepping-out-of-bounds twice on a routine play, throwing away passes, and just being a complete ass. If he attempts more shots then it is only going to compound the obvious problems that he is displaying when he is not shooting.

If you're talking about the 2 videos of him looking like he separated himself from the team, looks like those may be a nothing burger.

In one, he says he was doing the same pre-game ritual/routine he's done since he entered the league. If memory serves, the same issue came up last year and was explained the same way.

In the Pat Bev one, he says he was actually talking to the coaches when Pat Bev pulled everyone together.

Dude still needs to go, but on these it looks like it might be a bunch of not much.

The one thing I will say in his defense is that last year, when Lebron and AD were healthy, he looked like he was honestly trying to do what was asked of him and the Lakers were 3 games above .500 when the injuries started happening.

Doesn't mean that they would have figured anything out, but he did try, and they had a winning record when he was trying.

The problem is that even if he does his absolute best to fit in, he's never going to be able to provide the perimeter shooting they need to create the space for Lebron and AD to be at their best.

Ham says he's going to insist everyone play defense and that supposedly includes Westbrook. If Ham can get him to buy in completely on defense, with his speed, quickness, athleticism and angry energy, he could have value as a perimeter defender.

Unless something is changed, the Lakers aren't likely to have a perimeter offense that's going to keep any coaches up at night...with some of the young guys the Lakers got, if Westbrook buys in, maybe they can make up for it with their perimeter defense?

I joined some public league with a friend of mine. Just goofing around. This guy made like 8 leagues, best teams from each league join one league. Should be fun destroying these guys….
