Well, looks like Lebron and Co actually give a fuck about racism, even when it's not directed at the black community afterall.

Not sure why they even attempted to.give this piece of shit, nut job a platform to begin with.

He is beyond rational thinking at this poimt.

Kanye West needs help, a ass whooping and perhaps Jesus.

Still...they chose to do the right thing over ratings.

“Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion, and he was ready to address all his recent comments,” SpringHill CEO Maverick Carter.

“Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes. We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate.”

“I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”

Not sure I like the idea of not airing it.

Imo, the best way to handle that kind of crap is to drag it out into the sunlight for everyone to see and speak out. Maybe air it with disclaimers before and after explaining the reason behind airing it.

On the other hand, I understand not wanting to associate themselves with it either. There will always be those who won't understand the point of airing it even when the point has been explained.

Not gonna lie...there's also a morbid curiosity of "what did he say that was so bad that they don't even want any quotes released.
Oh, I'd love to see it.

But, he already aired it out on Fox News, Twitter and Instagram.

He was just doubling down on the stupid.

I think Springhill kinda had to go this route.

Remember the debate we had a few weeks back about the misconception of LeBron saying he hates white people?

That's not a isolated incident.

That quote has been aggregated, and repeated, ad naseum , and some people really believe that shit.

Also, there has been a distinct lack of outrage from the black community on this topic.

We were all upon our feelings over him wearing a white lives matter tshirt.

But, his antisemitism?

Has not been right since his Mom died.

He needs to slow his roll because he is running out of friends.

You know you are fucked in the head when you have to resort to bashing Justin Bieber and his wife.

Talk about low hanging fruit.

Lets see if he has the balls to go at Bron.

He was dumb enough to try Jay Z.

But, quickly made a public plea that Jay not have him assassinated.

So, he still has some common sense left.

His only friend right now is a guy who clearly has CTE (Antonio Brown). It's a shame really. Feel bad for his kids more than anything. They're the innocent ones here.

Those kids get exploited from both sides.

Their Mom isn't exactly Mother Theresa.

Every second of their existence has been broadcast for public consumption.

So I was listening to the Mismatch. They were talking about Dame and how the Blazers may be looking to blow things up, if there isn't a real sign of improvement, and go full wambayamapalooza.

Not a lot of teams out there that I think would be keen to take on 32 year old Dame's crazy contract. But then I thought of the perfect trade!

This sounds crazy, but it's actually not that crazy. Michael Jordan went no. 3 in his draft class.

It's interesting. Both are unicorns as far as what they are able to do at their size. Wembanyama is more of one because he's taller. But teams may have concerns about his ability to stay healthy. Look at guys like Zinger and AD.

Meanwhile, Lebron looks like someone built him in a lab specifically to play basketball.

Not sure that's such a slam dunk.

The latest on Draymond Green that I have read from a number of sources both reputable and non-reputable is that the Lakers are not VERY interested in adding Green just because he wants out of Dubsland and to play with his buddy James. The Lakers already have gone through these shananigans with Irving a couple of months ago. Remember? Sort of a once taken, twice burned sort of scenario. Moreover:

First, the Lakers have stopped listening to and acting on what James wants.

Second, they are not acting on what James' buddies want.

Third, ideally the Lakers want a younger version of Draymond Green more than they want to add Green outright. The days of adding old and older players for the first reasons are officially over.

So in sum: Green to the Lakers is about as likely as Irving to the Lakers at the trade deadline.

Maybe, maybe not.

But you also recently posted a lengthy take about how the Lakers could possibly draft Wembanyama, so I am not putting a lot of stock in those sources.

@Mecca you nailed it. I was wrong on this one. Can’t believe there was no suspension.

Sounds like Curry and others were working overtime to put out fires here. Only way he doesn’t get a suspension was with the blessing of Poole. The lack of suspension for this is shocking to me, but hopefully good news for the team in terms of them moving forward.

Poole was the bigger man than Draymond. I guess that part is not surprising. Looney also helped out and played a big role. I'm still hoping we move on from Draymond soon. If that is a year or two from now, so be it. I'm definitely against an extension. For Poole, the Warriors should definitely extend him right now if possible.

Wow. Antonio Brown is one of the few people crazier than him. Maybe Antonio Brown makes Kanye feel like he is sane.

I didn't dig into why Jefferson posted that, but the draft is a lot of guesswork on how players will turn out. It's reasonable to think that Vic W would be picked number 1. I'm assuming that Jefferson meant that teams are drafting without knowing how LeBron's career turned out.

Oh, it's absolutely more than reasonable that he could be picked number 1. It depends on what the team needs are that have a chance to draft him. Even if it's a redundancy, if there's a special talent, teams will often go ahead and draft him and figure out how to make it work later.

But teams know that bigs that have skillsets like Webanyama are often injury prone, which could give them pause, especially when there's another generational talent available.
