I somewhat agree. It's not a sucker punch if the punchee shoves first IMO. Now if he had just cold cocked him without getting shoved, sure.

The punch wasn't warranted of course, but that's a slightly different discussion.

You put your hands on someone, better be prepared to defend yourself. Some folks aren't into shoving matches.

Ring Night is going to be really awkward if the Poole family and Green family are sitting near each other.

Damn. That Bagley non contact knee collapse did not look good. I was hoping he was going to finally break out with this young pistons team. Maybe next year.

Thunder beat the Pistons tonight to go 4-1 in preseason. I view the Pistons as now being a team that is too good to tank, which is where the Thunder will be a year from now.

I'm watching the Spurs vs Jazz game.

I swear to GAWD, Roby and THT are the only guys I can name by sight.

Tank Warz gonna be EPIC.

@Mecca you nailed it. I was wrong on this one. Can’t believe there was no suspension.

Sounds like Curry and others were working overtime to put out fires here. Only way he doesn’t get a suspension was with the blessing of Poole. The lack of suspension for this is shocking to me, but hopefully good news for the team in terms of them moving forward.

Might be a good idea to black out a big chunk of the schedule, lol. Some of these games are not going to be fit for TV consumption.

Been that way since pretty much forever. Not sure why folks are surprised.

You have a bunch of young guys who are uber talented, ultra competitive and pretty much all are some level of alpha having to compete against each other every day...they get a little sick of each others faces and shit happens.

I'm surprised it doesn't happen even more often than it already does.

Well, looks like Lebron and Co actually give a fuck about racism, even when it's not directed at the black community afterall.

Not sure why they even attempted to.give this piece of shit, nut job a platform to begin with.

He is beyond rational thinking at this poimt.

Kanye West needs help, a ass whooping and perhaps Jesus.

Still...they chose to do the right thing over ratings.

“Yesterday we taped an episode of The Shop with Kanye West. Kanye was booked weeks ago and, after talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion, and he was ready to address all his recent comments,” SpringHill CEO Maverick Carter.

“Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes. We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate.”

“I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”

Indeed, I suspect Poole handled it like a man. Like Kerr did when MJ punched him.

Apparently (according to Kerr on the radio) the biggest voice helping the team has been Kevon Looney

That said, Draymond better learn from this. He learned to stop getting techs so he can do it. His 'leader' status on the team will change some, but as predicted this isn't that big a deal.

Not sure I like the idea of not airing it.

Imo, the best way to handle that kind of crap is to drag it out into the sunlight for everyone to see and speak out. Maybe air it with disclaimers before and after explaining the reason behind airing it.

On the other hand, I understand not wanting to associate themselves with it either. There will always be those who won't understand the point of airing it even when the point has been explained.

Not gonna lie...there's also a morbid curiosity of "what did he say that was so bad that they don't even want any quotes released".

There's also the portion of the population that will take that airing and use it as confirmation of their own leanings. Better to leave it off and release comments to the media speaking about it as they did IMO.
