Draymond would have suitors for sure. Dame has been wanting Draymond for a minute. Draymond on the Nuggets or Mavs would be wild though.

Added bonus is that if he's on the Nuggets, @HurricaneDij39 might lose his shit.

Then Dray to the Nugs must happen.

The Lakers don't want him, regardless what he wants.....

LOL.

What offers do you think teams will make to him if he is a free agent next year? I'm pretty sure he'll opt in for next year at $27.5 million. He's not getting $27.5 million from another team.

LOL.

If lebron is still on the team next year then the lakers would want him. Him and Lebron are very very close

The Lakers don't have much to trade for him.....he isn't a FA. He has a player option that he isn't turning down for '23-24. His next contract won't be for 27.5 mill.

So in summation, he won't be a Laker. Like I said.

If we have to read that the Lakers have chances to get Wenbayama, even though it doesn’t seem possible, then by god they have chances to get Draymond too.

They might.

And it also might be the worst imaginable fit for Draymond. At least when considering teams that are not rebuilding.

LeBron could want him but the Lakers don't.

The Lakers aren't yiedling to LeBron's wants anymore.

Look at the Laker free agent signings lately.

It would be very on brand to think they would want Draymond.

They definitely will. They may not be able to come to an agreement with the Warriors but there is no doubt that they will be in discussions with the Warriors if they make him available. Pretty crazy to think otherwise

Other than he isn't declining a 27.5 mill option and they have nothing to match in a trade?

LOL

If he declines an option he is a free agent.

And he just might if he thinks the Lakers (or another team he likes) would give him something like 3 years for 50 million or so.

You can LOL all you want, but it is certainly a possibility. Draymond has made a lot of money in this league. He is EXACTLY the type of vet who might take a lot less money to play somewhere he wants to be.

The Lakers aren't preserving cap space to offering him 3 years and 50 mill......and that's a huge IF he declines his player option of 27.5 mill, which I don't think he will.

Just like RW didn't decline his to leave the Lakers and go somewhere else and get 10-12 mill per. He's made a lot of money as well, just like Dray. Both are declining players who know to take the money.

It isn’t just like Russ at all though.

It is a very different situation.
