Does anyone seriously think Draymond and Jordan aren't going to move past this? I know Robotech will never get over it, but I don't think it matters to Poole. Obviously I don't know this for sure.

Come playoff time this will be completely forgotten.

They'll get past it.

Hell, I heard this morning that Kerr has said that when MJ punched him in practice, it resulted in great team chemistry.

lol

A poll for most punchable player in NBA history?

I'd have to go with Ainge or Laimbeer.
Both great picks, but there is something about him, don’t know what, that just makes me want to punch Kelly Olenyk.

But, no, thinking back to his playing days Ainge wins.

He hasn’t been a leader far before this incident

He still was despite all of the previous incidents and obvious lack of self control, but this sucker punch was perhaps a step too far even for Draymond Green, who has been given so much leeway by the Warriors. He is so disrespectful that he doesn't deserve any respect.

He’s a leader if they still look at him like a God. No none ever looked at Draymond that way.

Draymond thinks he is God, so that's all that matters. He was justified in striking that heathen, Jordan Poole.

If we go by a very broad definition of the word action, then I agree that anything can be an action, included saying words, but Draymond is the one who made aggressive actions. And when do words justify or excuse violence? Unless Poole threatened Draymond's life or the lives of his family members, it doesn't matter what Poole said.

Of course.

Never once have I condoned what Draymond did here.

He was definitely the initiator and the escalator.

Yeah, this wasn't even a fight. It was an attack. Sneak attack, too.

Draymond was the aggressor. Had he stayed where he was at and continued talking to Poole then this doesn't happen. Where Poole messed up at was not throwing the first punch once Draymond approached him. Must swing first in that situation

Must swing first?

No man.

Neither should have swung.

Richard Jefferson just said something on ESPN that sums up what I mean about Wembenyana being the most hyped player ever. He said if Lebron were in this draft at the same age, even with people knowing how good he was going to be, that Wembenyama would go ahead of him. The hype is just beginning.

Probably.

Because he is 7’4 guard.

However, LeBron was a household name in basketball circles as a 9th grader.

I never heard of Vic until last year.

The duration of the hype + the degree to which he changed level of attention to high school players will never come close to being matched.

Hindsight is 20-20, but if Jordan Poole knew what was about to come from Draymond, then maybe he should've have punched him. Or maybe he should've walked away, but if he did that, then people would think he's weak. If there is anyone who deserves a beatdown, it's Draymond. Jordan Poole is not the guy to do it, though. Too small.

Yeah, but you can’t assume your teammate is going to punch you in the face.

That is wrong.
