Malones metrics are elite

Without the Jordan rules people would put a lot more spect on his name
Not winning hurt.

But, I think he's slighted because Duncan was just better.

If you weren't around to see it, we all were, I can understand why a person just reading stats on a web page may beg to differ.

Timmy didn't have to put up astronomical numbers to affect the game.

But, he could have.

Also.....I hate Malone because he's a pe-do-phile.

Maybe he was as good as Duncan.

But, my disgust blinds me?

I was cherry picking what Shane said. I later saw you say you weren't comparing the two.
We all do that.

But, you know how it goes here.

Someone will read the first sentence and aggregate the comment to Mecca said Thompson was as good as Tim Duncan....lol

Yeah I didn't think you were specifically making a Duncan vs Malone comparison just using it as a baseline. I don't know how you can put Lillard on an all-time list over Klay. Championships matter, whether people like it or not. Maybe if Klay was put into another situation he wouldn't be close to what he is now though but that's not what happened.

That's how I see it too.

I get why others don't.

We value different things in players.

To many variables, no established criteria of what makes guys great.

One to one Dame is definitely the better player. In terms of meshing within a group of other stars it can be argued Klay is the better choice.

But if I'm building a team from ground up I'd go with Dame.

Yea. Both are clear top 10 players, both probably have arguments for the top 5. They also have longevity other players don’t have.

Eh. Malone is right there top 15 but you can make a decent argument to keep him out of the top 10.

KD, Curry, Hakeem, Dirk all kind of muddy the water in terms of how people rank them

@Heatles84 @trojanfan12

I shamefully report that I am going to the Silva vs. Paul fight.

I never thought I'd attend one of these shit events.

But, you can't beat free and I'm only doing it because I have to chaperone.

Free?

Yeah, I'd probably go too.

I'd probably end up regretting it, but I'd go. lol

I’d add Shaq to that list

His peak was that good

People forget how good Stockton and Malone are

They made the finals starting things named Greg Osterrag…..lol

Excellent duo. Definitely slip in rankings because they didn't win a title.

I'd still take prime Zeke over Stockton but John had the much longer career. It's like Isiah had no stomach to be on a bad team. He just said fuck it. Although it was an Achilles.

It's going to be a millennial shitshow.

My Daughter's little pissant boyfriend is training to become a fighter.

So, he's getting the tix presale and invited us.

He has zero chance to make it.

He's 5'9 and 140lbs of bitch...lol

If he's actually 140 he's got a long way to go lol.

These guys weigh in at 140 but 99 percent of the time are closer to 170

Remember when Shaq took his man card?

Karl Malone, who featured heavily in the final two episodes of "The Last Dance," recalled how Shaquille O'Neal "f—ed Greg Ostertag up for the rest of his life." That was retribution after Ostertag — who is 7-2, 280 pounds, by the way — "started yacking" the previous year as Utah blanked Los Angeles 4-0 in Western Conference finals.

As Malone tells it, O'Neal approached Malone before the game and said, "'Hey, if I see that motherf—er I'm going to slap the s— out of him.' And he is not lying. We're waiting on (Ostertag) to come out for the preseason, on the shootaround, and Shaq walked right to him. 'Man, I told you to quit talking that s—.'

"Before we could even respond, Ostertag's on the ground looking for his contact. It ruined him for the rest of our career."

Absolutely.

He was left off for non-basketball reasons.

@tlance has tunnel vision.

Dame and AD's resumes are not done.

Both guys are clearly uber talented enough to make the top 75 when it's all said and done.

But, they don't deserve to be there NOW.

Pau, Dwight, Alex English and Klay have better resumes NOW.

If you wanna project the if's and maybes, sure.

But, right now...no.

Right now, is Dame even ahead of T-Mac?

Just using Pau vs AD because their skillsets are ridiculously similar, AD is a more talented version of Pau and is a better player.

But when we are talking about something like a top 75 player of all time, that includes the full resume and Pau has that over AD.

Maybe he wouldn't if AD had better health...but there's a reason that they say the best ability is availability.

So yeah, I'd have to agree with Pau over AD right now.
