Honestly picks are extremely over rated. If it's not a top 10 pick, the odds of landing a good player is under 10%...That means 90% you get a scrub...So odds are statistically with 3 late picks not a single one will end up being good. Plus, if your team doesn't plan on rebuilding for the next 5 or so years, holding the picks is pointless vs picking up a really good player through a trade.

I would not be surprised if SExton scores more ppg than mitchel or garland.

niether garland or mitchell are going to score career high types in points this seaason playing with the other- but both should be more efficient than they have been. Neither has ever played with a guy like they are playing with now.

Ill be very interested to see how Mitchell does when he has a guy like garland next to him- plus having the front court defensive help like he had in Utah.

I just don't know if he's a Lauri, Abaji and Picks better.

But, it's pretty obvious why the Cavs did the deal.

He's a fricking All-Star.

His ceiling is higher...imo

Sexton's coming off an injury and was in a stalemate with his contract extension.

You were right there last year and you upgraded your sg position.

It's fun to debate things for weeks during the offseason.

When the games start, and you are winning, the cost won't matter unless a Sexton led Jazz team goes farther.

Odds of that happening out West, as currently constructed, are fucking ZERO.

The Cavs have their core now in Mitchell, Garland, Mobley and Allen. Mobley will prob. end up being the best out of all of them- and that is saying something since Mitchell is a 25 year old 3 time all star that scored 50+ in playoff games.

mitchell will be the best player this year- but it would not surprise me within a couple years if Mobley passes him and who knows with Garland.

So much of the stuff I have listened to on the trade- so many people just cant help but talk about Mobley and how they expect him to bea fucking monster and one of the best players in the game by the time he gets close to his prime. He is like a rich mans Bam with balls.

Hollinger says they’re projected to be 30m under the tax line. Which likely means they’ll operate over the cap and could have the full mle available (if they let one of levert or love go)

They believe LeVert has the higher upside. They could always flip him but I think the plan is…start Okoro (for now) and LeVert will finish games. Mark was good but there was just something missing with him. We will see. They still have cap room next season to add a piece

Minny and Cleveland are playoff teams so those picks in 22, 25, 26 and even 27 likely to be mid to late 1st’s.
He definitely got a lot of trade capital there at worst but players have to become available and want to go to Utah. Who wants to be in Utah?

They can still get more draft picks for some of those players and/or guys on the current roster. Gotta do something with the picks to WIN these trades though. Won’t know for a looong time

Vanderbilt and Mark are very nice role players but their ceiling seems limited.
Two unknown rookies.
Sexton could be an all-star caliber player.
