Well, there's no way it's Rob Williams III... so it'd have to be Grant...I think they will have to deal one of the Williams.
Hard no if RWIII is insisted on as part of this deal (in addition to Brown and White)...Well yeah if they only give White and future picks it's a no brainer imo. Adding Smart is dangerous for their depth with Brogdon carrying the load but they still improve and would need a little more depth. I think if it were this easy, adding a couple more picks would get this deal done...I can see going back and forth though bc Boston wants to keep as many future picks as well but I think if they offer this...BKN still might want another piece. Maybe Robert Williams? Do you still do this deal with flying colors?
Wow.Decent article on why the Nets might fear a deal centered around Jaylen Brown -- because of the need to re-sign him before the '24'25 season:
Why Kevin Durant-for-Jaylen Brown trade would be just as risky for Nets as it would be for Celtics
Brown is almost guaranteed to decline a new contract from the Nets because of the CBA's extension ruleswww.cbssports.com
Looked at this way, it's pretty far from a slam dunk that a deal between the Celtics and Nets ends up going down.
Monster...!
Watch his parents be below average in height.Monster...!
What did his parents feed him…
How do you defend that in HS?What did his parents feed him…
Do you watch Locked on Suns?Watch his parents be below average in height.
Would be a good move
In fairness....DH is a backup big.Dwight has resurrected his career by accepting that he's not THAT Dwight any more and taking on a lesser, but still useful role. It has gotten him a ring and there's interest in him every off season.
If Westbrook were smart, he'd do the same.
Yeah every fanbase has those.Do you watch Locked on Suns?
I have come to realize that most fan bases are completely delusional.
I just watched a video, from today, that says they put their chances of landing Durant at 50-60 %.
Even if the Celtics offer Brown and Smart.
I just can't with some of these people.
Doesn't predict well for "unicorn" skills; most of those types are guards with big growth spurts late. Players that big that early tend to be stiff and/or gawky.
