I don't know that the Lakers were looking to keep him this offseason, but he would've done himself some favors if he wouldn't jump from team to team so often. It would allow him to better establish a role IMO.Dwight has resurrected his career by accepting that he's not THAT Dwight any more and taking on a lesser, but still useful role. It has gotten him a ring and there's interest in him every off season.
If Westbrook were smart, he'd do the same.
