Not sure I agree Tatum is as good. I mean KD is still unguardable. We saw Tatum have one of the worst Finals performances that I can remember. Having KD alongside definitely helps him though, more than Brown

KD in a small sample is better. But one has played in 252 games in 3 years and the other 106..

I think it’s smart or white, not both
Oh, okay.

Who's the other rotation player?

Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported the Celtics offered Brown, Derrick White and an undisclosed draft pick for Durant. The Nets countered by asking for Brown, Marcus Smart, draft picks and another rotation player

It'd have to be either Payton Pritchard or Grant Williams.

I don't imagine that Brooklyn would care to quibble about anyone else.

(I agree with the general consensus that there is no way the C's give up Smart AND White)

Why would they want Pritchard when they have Patty and Seth?

Time Lord should end any negotiation.

If it isnt White, Gotta be Williams.

Why would the Celtics gut their team that were two games away from a championship and crap-out the future just to get a 34-year old, injury-prone player. There goes your defense and maybe you might make it back, maybe. That would be a stupid trade. Somebody has a woodie for KD apparently!!

Yep. I'd run it back with the Brogdon addition.

is Chris Sale pitching this weekend?

Dude got hurt on fluke comebacker.

It happens.

It was dumb to resign him though. No question.

I hate the Timberwolves trade, but it is fucking hilarious that it completely destroyed the entire trade market.

It ruined the offseason for sure.

But man, all you guys had to do was probably keep one of Balmero or Keslser and you coudl've built some kind of track package to get the 3pt shooting Small forward you need.

Pippen on Klay. Good luck Klay plus Pippen was a better overall scorer than Klay, he could post up and drive better than Klay. They can throw Harper or MJ at Curry. Rodman on Dray. Good luck beating them by 20 with 90's rules. That would be suffocating defense.
And then KD scores 50?

The rules matter but 1996 Bulls would be equal. 2017 Warriors better than 1998 Bulls (not by a lot)

Yes, by a lot.

1998 Bulls weren’t anywhere near as good as the prior versions.

Injury and age had started catching up. The barely beat Utah.
