Chapter 4 coming in March, with #5 already in the works as well.

The most badass cat I've ever had was named Baba Yaga. That fucker wasn't even scared of the vacuum cleaner. You could vacum right at him and he'd just look at you like "Go around motherfucker". lol

I don't blame LeBron. Westbrook's a chemistry killer. There's a reason a player that talented has played for four teams the last four years.
Lebron is the reason he is there in the first place.

True. But nobody could have thought it would have turned out this bad.

LeBron can't be blamed because Westbrook's a chemistry killer.

You sure about that?

Most of us thought this would be an awful fit.

The basketball fit was easy to predict. Not a huge reach to think that ego would be in play too once the basketball part clearly isn’t working.

I read this morning that Westbrook wouldn't even set screens.

Holy shit that's not good.

When your Lakers got him I thought LeBron/AD/Russ were going to be a helluva trio. As far as I'm concerned this is 100% on RW.

I thought at first it was going to work out. I was way off. I was foolish enough to think RW would modify his game to fit in with two future HOFers that have rings.

Yeah. Would take more than just a modification though.

He would need to accept a total back seat.

His skill set is almost the opposite of the ideal LeBron pairing.

Really tough for any former MVP to accept a diminished role when they think they have more to offer.

Very well put. I agree.

If he gets traded.....the team will buy him out and then he can finish his career in China.....like Marbury did.

If he goes to China will Russ start gobbling down vaseline like Starbury?

Keanu is 57, so not a spring chicken but far from that 75 range. Some 70+ guys that might have worked? Kurt Russell, Sting, Samuel Jackson, Patrick Stewart, etc; depends on whether they wanted as much action with the older character. Probably wouldn't want to go down that Stallone/Arnold path again.

Chapter 4 coming in March, with #5 already in the works as well.

I hope you mean sting the wrestler, who is in his 60s but still could’ve made it work lol

Russ is a Laker because James the GM heavily influenced the Lakers to stop the negotiations with DeRozan and get Westbrook instead. The blame for Westbrook even being on the Lakers roster lies partially at the feet of James and the complicit FO. AS Jerry West and Pat Riley have often stated, it is the job of the GM to do due diligence. Westbrook had been with 4 teams prior to James the GM pressing the Lakers to sign him. If you are going to play de Facto GM, then you do your due diligence. It is obvious James or Pelinka or the FO didn't. So the blame does partially fall at the feet of James for this Westbrook debacle. Notice this summer, James was left out-of-the-loop (or was told by ignoring by the Lakers any input by him) and Pelinka got back to doing his job and signing the players Ham might want-youngsters that play defense.
