Honestly doesn’t sound like anything close to a bargain to me

He was set to make 47.5 million for one year. Average value of this deal is 34.5 per year. It’s likely not even Steven though. It’s probably like 32 and 36.5 or some other mix. He walked away from about 14-15 million. But more importantly than the number he gave the Sixers exactly what they needed…flexibility to improve the roster and they have.

Depends on which Harden shows up next year.

The one from, say, '18'19... or the one we saw last year.
I would bet he knows he is playing with a guy now that will hold him accountable. It’s no bullshit time. We will know a lot when we see how shows up looking at training camp.

Yup he could have stuck to his guns and kept getting laughed at and picked last on playground teams and such. It’s gutcheck time, let’s see if he has one.

18-19 Harden is worth 47.5 million. I don’t think that dude is coming back. He averaged 22/10/8 last year. That guy is still worth 30-35 million a year.

Perhaps.

IMO, it was an ugly 22/10/8... Harden has to play better than last year.

Yeah... Chris Paul held him accountable, look how that ended up.
Embiid will kick the living shit out of him, he doesn’t care.

I agree they need a better Harden to get to the next level. His shooting percentages were the ugly numbers. He was still a really productive player.

We've seen Embiid in action with the likes of Ben Simmons... he's more likely to go on social media and vent.

He really didn’t. He just came to Harden’s team and mocked him in front of the rest of the team. I’ve coached and taught a ton of leaders. That’s not how you lead.
