With Woj's report posted earlier, Woj corroborated what the Icon stated about a week ago. Jerry West already stated that he seriously doubted the Lakers would sign Irving for several reasons and in the same interview indicated that KD would not be going anywhere anytime soon because no single team has the sufficient assets to satisfy Brooklyn. It is just that simple.

Since Westbrook/James/AD had a commitment conference call recently (if there is any truth to it), everyone in-the-know is moving on with the realization that Westbrook will, in all likelihood, finish his contract with the Lakers. The earliest anything MAY occur would be the trade deadline. If the Lakers ad Bev or someone else and move Westbrook, that is probably a new development. Otherwise, just a lot of noise about nothing.

I'm almost more excited about the possibility of getting Pat Bev than anyone else.. Love that dude. lol
Working under the premise that Westbrook goes to Utah, you'd get more than Pat Bev.

I'd pass on Conley and attempt to get Bogdanovic 18 ppg, 4rpg, 2 dimes shooting 39% from 3 and Pat Bev.

Would you give up both picks for this deal?

Because, you know Ainge will try to extort you?

Also, you don't have enough roster spots.

That would need to be addressed.

The future Number Ones, Mecca, would be the sticking point. Maybe Rob Lowe could convince Ainge to take a Second Rounder or two.

Again, it costs at least one first just to eat that disastrous Russ contract…and even that is a bit light

Anything else is payment for the invoking talent talent

Ainge?

The Dude that got four future first rounders and the Wolves #19 pick Kessler, so essentially 5 first rounders for Gobert?

....and is demanding 7 picks for Mitchell?

If Rob pulled that off, he'd deserve executive of the year.

If Pelinka sticks to that....we are stuck with RW. Ainge is a fucking thief when it comes to trades

@thunderc

I know you need a vet and usually don't want a roster full of children.

But, the Thunder don't have any knuckleheads.

So, Favors is the name that jumps out to be moved.

Who else?

Muscala?

It’s just a matter of time until they pull the plug on Pokusevski, he is just not developing. I still say he should have been left in Europe for a couple years but that is likely where his next contract will be. Long term I expect Robinson Earle to eventually push Bazley out of the mix. I expect Dieng to play in the G league this season. I would be surprised if the Thunder let Favors go, he is fairly cheap. Both he and Muscala are pieces that can help a contendor though.

A dream come true for LA but I would give up 2 1st's for those Lakers without a doubt.
