Hear me out....

If you don't get Kyrie but you land Buddy or Gordon, this isn't a bad pickup for the minimum.

If you can get a deal done with Utah, Bog and Beverley > Gordon and Dennis.

But, you gotta worry about that Trader Danny tax.

Agreed, not the worst, but is he aware that means a vet min deal, likely for only 1 year?

I'm not all that enamored with getting Kyrie. Yes, a 100% engaged and healthy Kyrie would be the best overall addition...but when was the last time that happened?

Heck, things could be going great and then something will happen societally that Kyrie will see as such a grave injustice that he can't play basketball anymore. Not sure I want to spend the season watching the ESPN ticker waiting for that announcement. lol

I wanted the Hield trade that was derailed by the Westbrook debacle. Would love getting Pat Bev. Lakers haven't had a defensive ''dawg'' since probably MWP.

I'd have no issue with Dennis back on a min either. Can't really blame him for the injuries from when he was here.

Yep.

The 3 star model is not the only way to win.

Bev and Bog aren't the sexy names.

But, they'd be plug and play and would help balance the roster.

Beasley would be good as well.
Beasley can shoot....Bev gives us defense and enforcer plus he can hit about league average on treys (35.5% last season) and Bog is a sniper.

At this point, he has to know that.

Unless he thinks the Spurs/Indy will give him a bag.

His best chance to rehab his value would be to go to a higher profile team, show that he can play team ball and win.

Dunno of a team that has a spot for him that meets that criteria.

Would the Heat want him?

Maybe if they dealt Herro for Donovan or Durant?

The next best option has to be the Lakers.

If he could humble himself enough to play for the minimum, after turning down 80 mil, that would be remarkable.

.....and Bog is a wing.

You don't need another guard, even though Beas is better than THT, Walker.

Lmao @ looking at the ESPN ticker!!!!

I get why the La!ers want to exhaust all avenues for Kyrie.

But, I think they'd be better off with one of the other scenarios.

Utah is ideal because you'd be able to ditch Westbrook.

But, at what cost?

Ainge is a pick hoarder.

Buddy is most likely available for a price you'd be willing to pay.

Schroeder would be practically free.

You guys should be happy that Rob is wise enough to have a fallback plan.

Maybe more than one.

Fuck those 1st rounders. Try and win now.

Historically, we go after free agents and do well in 2nd round.

I wouldn't mind replacing Monk's sniper ability with Beas
You just have to keep him focused.

Especially in LA.

He is prone to do stupid shit off the court.

Pointing weapons at people.

Plus, might be a bit uncomfortable with Pippen Jr considering Malik was banging his mom.

I think he has a better plan for this off-season. Lucky Hield can still be available.

Beverly can handle PG duties when Lebron gets a rest. Bog can create his own shot and do that as well, rarely. Both can shoot from the outside. You do anything to get off of Russ, well almost anything. A Knick trade would be a disaster

Yeah....

What's the point in getting Randle if Davis isn't playing the 5?

Pat Bev can play with LeBron as well.

Kawhi, George had the ball way more than Bev.

Plus, he likes doing the dirty work.
