Gotta be the Lakers.

Still, Doesn't work because the Spurs don't have enough cap to absorb Westbrook.

Also doesn't work because what do the Spurs get for eating the contract?

If that's even real, what was posted would have to be just the meat of it. I'd assume there are other assets moving as well to make it work.

Or maybe SA gives back JRich to BKN as well as LA taking McDermott. So they get rid of 2 multi-year contracts and they get a 2nd round pick

Future cap relief and probably a pick. BKN should get 2 1st's out of it though, right?
Dude....

That's not going to work because of the 2nd part of the tweet.

If the Lakers are sending 2 picks to the Nets, what do they have to send to the Spurs?

They don't need future cap relief.

They all ready have it, which is why they are being mentioned.

They want to be heavily compensated.

I didn't see that part. Yeah unloading two contracts is enough they need picks too. Gonna be tough bc you have to give BKN and SA compensation

Again: Why?

They already have cap space without involving themselves.

If the Lakers aren't giving the Nets and Spurs 2 picks a piece, I don't see how this works.

If the Nets don't have to take back Westbrook, maybe they take 1?

The Spurs would likely n want 2.

I'm not sure they would both need two picks a piece but they should be asking for it. If the Spurs unload future cap and get a pick...that should be enough but what does BKN want? 1 or 2 picks? The Lakers only have so many picks.

The Lakers will have to give up those picks just to get Gordon anyway. They will need to give both 1st's, take another contract back and probably 2nd's too

Yup.

I think the Lakers have the least leverage.

So, they would be the team to blink first.

The fact that nobody else wants Kyrie helps.

But, the Nets don't have to do anything anytime soon.

Yes, there is the threat of holding out or being a malcontent.

But, Camp is 10 weeks away.

If it doesn't get resolved, what is our is gonna do, not show up?

Cool.

He won't get paid.

As we saw from his opting in, he's not the Maverick he wants folks to believe or he would have played for the 6.5 mil.

Clearly, money is still a motivating factor within Nostradumbass.
