They definitely need to find a taker for Russ. But like I've said I'd go further and blow the whole thing up.
I'm not opposed to the Lakers being good. But right now they are annoying as shit. They weren't good and yet they soaked up way more press and games than they should.
Doesn't do a lot of good to blow the whole thing up until you have your draft picks.
No Sonics in Cali? I have 2 within a 10 minute drive from my house depending on which way I go.
Might try it. Not really a fan of their food though. I only go there for the occasional shake.
3 within 2 blocks in AZ.

The only time the Lakers aren't a story is when they are boring. That's not the case right now, and hasn't been since the Ceballos years.
They’re not a contender though.
Nope. Not a contender. Your 2022-23 season is dead on arrival. Most likely projected as a playoff team next season even with the majority of their roster in flux (again). It will take some major wins this summer in free agency and the trade market to project them for any kind of favorite status (Warriors, Suns and Grizz likely projected as the top 3 in the West, but that's a separate question. Get Lebron/AD in the tournament healthy and anything can happen.

Not sure they beat Miami if Dragic is healthy
5-6 years ago? Sure. Now? Nope.Any Lebron team is a contender.
Under contract through '23-24 and has a player option for 43.2 mill in 24-25 when he will be 32....LOL. Here's an assortment of odds and ends, give us a star player. At least one of those top core players would have to be included to even start a discussion (and likely AD shuts down the discussion by indicating he won't re-sign there).
Have to agree. Age slowly showed on the guy, but it's in evidence now...5-6 years ago? Sure. Now? Nope.
Heard Atkinson was kinda rigid and better suited for the kiddie corps Lakers, pre-Lebron.
Heard Stotts was the polar opposite of Vogel * No defense, all offense * and kinda passive.
Heard Ham definitely will need a very strong associate head coach like Nash had with D'Antoni. But, he at least has the players respect.
All 3 have warts.
All 3 have pluses as well.
And it’s not really a knock on the guy to say he’s too old to roll out the ball and still be a contender with a broke ass roster with over paid talent that doesn’t fit or can’t stay healthy.Have to agree. Age slowly showed on the guy, but it's in evidence now...
Funny how all these shots at the Lakers involving their inability to stay healthy are matching up with "but what if my guys were healthy" retorts lol.
Injuries happen, and they all count.
They won't be good picks though. Any team that Lebron or AD agrees to go to will be a contender or close to it, giving up 1sts in the 20s (unless they own picks from other teams).I'd imagine you would get those picks in such a trade or two.
