Dude, remember when I was messing with you about posting stuff late?

Look at the date of the article.....lmao

They talked about it all year long and even in the finals.
Often times I am watching with the volume on MUTE.

agree to disagree on that (Garland being worth more or less than the 39 mil)...guess we'll wait to find out.

The thing that is getting missed is that the cap number is expected to explode in 2024. These signings are locking in these young players on max contracts under an outdated model 2 years into their deals.

Any Lakers fans watching Summer League?

Pippen Jr. is not a pg.

If he is, it will be in name only like Lou Williams, Reggie Jackson, Monta Ellis, Jamal Murray.

He sure likes to score.

Pretty decent at it against summer league caliber players.

Gonna be interesting to see if he can do it in the G League.

He looks kinda smallish.

Watched most of the game. Swider out there nailing jumpers.

Don’t get greedy. Take Harris lol

For sure. But I kinda sorta get where they're coming from. The fact that the Nets seem more than ok giving Harris away makes me pause. Harris is a good player. He's better than Curry. And they just want to give him up? That makes me pause and go "Wait, is his ankle fucked up more than anyone else knows?". He's perfect role player healthy. But if he's busted up, I'd rather have Curry.

That said, they're fucking stupid if they let this deal fall through over Joe Harris. The conversation should go like:

Nets: Take Harris too.

Lakers: We want Curry.

Nets: No.

Lakers: Ok, we'll take Harris.

That's it. It's over. Done deal. This franchise made a fucking horrendous trade for Russell Westbrook and they've somehow fallen ass backwards into a deal that gets them an all star who is a much better fit AND a solid starter role player. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND TAKE THE DEAL

Looks like the deal between the Nets and the Lakers is going to take longer than most anticipated according to some pundits.

Lakers could possibly actually move Russ and they're balking on Joe Harris.

Lol. Incredible.
Probably because nobody else wants Irving? Not like the Nets have a ton of options, especially if they want a draft pick, maybe 2.

They'll settle for Harris if it comes down to it.

I saw most of it. Post game reaction from the Nation of Lakers Fans seems to be that Jay Huff is the next great Lakers center.

This fan base, man. It's like they never have watched any SL games. Every year they pick like 3 guys that they're convinced will be great players and maybe 1 out of 20 even make the final roster.

Curry is slightly better IMO.

It's negotiation tactics. I doubt that will be a sticking point. Nets are probably asking for 2 1sts, so the Lakers counter with a different 2nd player.

So is this.

Haven't the Lakers learned their lesson about haggling?

You did this with George thinking you'd get him in the Summer if all else fails.

Why in GAWDS name would you not go all in to prevent another team from beating your poo poo platter offer.

I can't think of a single NBA team that couldn't match your best offer.

The Sixers? LOL.

Harden wanted out because Irving wasn't playing.
