Cmon Bacon this makes too much sense why would we have shopped him to clear some cap space to get Gaudreaux. That is too smart for our organization.

One or two of our big salary defensemen have to go. Either Sanheim Prov Ellis or Risto. Preferably sign Sanheim and get rid of Risto and Ellis but that is just a dream.

Allar should be getting your starts, not a 6 year Sr QB who is not even that good. We actually tried swaying Allar to flip to OSU. He's an Ohio kid, but instead we flipped Devin Brown from USC. Cannot wait to play you guys this season.

There will be some good battles, for sure. I think it's probably very much a love/hate relationship that almost everyone has with Clifford at this point. He can do a little of everything, obviously has the experience and is very competitive, but then he'll turn the ball over or get injured at the absolute worst moments. I'm sure Allar has a much, much higher ceiling, so yeah, why not start him asap? It's fair to say that Clifford just turns the ball over too damn often, especially for a veteran.

Seriously. He's probably what, #1 or #2 in terms of expected offense generation coming in to this season? "Solid 52 points" from your best offensive threat is not going to lead to a lot of success.

They will probably cut down on goals against with Torts at the helm and better health from Couturier/Hayes. And that will of course help. But I don't see a route to this team getting out of the basement in terms of offense.
